We had a very good torta al testo with sausage. We arrived close to closing time, but they were very courteous and served us with the utmost courtesy and kindness.

On June 2nd I had dinner at the Testone Città di Castello and even though there were a lot of people I was happy and satisfied with the service and the quality of the food

Locale caldo ed accogliente, bello il fuoco in bella vista dove tutto viene grigliato, ragazze ai tavoli sveglie e simpatiche, prezzi piú che abbordabili, l'unica cosa che non mi garba é far la fila per ordinare...

Un sabato sono capitato in zona industriale per dare un esame di abilitazione: ho chiesto direttamente ad un lavoratore del posto dove poter andare a mangiare, e mi ha suggerito il Testone a pochi minuti di macchina. È esattamente quello che cercavo, un posto dove poter mangiare velocemente, con un'ampia scelta e spendendo comunque poco (non fanno pagare nemmeno il coperto!). L'unico dispiacere è che, volendo provare la torta al testo, non ho ordinato piatti di carne: spero di capitare in zona nuovamente. Mi ha fatto piacere vedere che c'erano tante persone della zona, abituali, a testimonianza del valore del locale. Una nota particolare la dedico alla cameriera, perché spesso non ci presto particolare attenzione e soprattutto in vita mia non mi era mai capitato di pensare "questa ragazza è perfetta per stare in questo posto": con molta attenzione alla sala, ma anche disponibilità per chi chiedeva indicazioni e soprattutto con una genuina simpatia che dona tantissimo calore e accoglienza al locale, senza bisogno di essere espansiva. Non dico che sia nata per questo, perché le auguro per il futuro di riuscire in qualunque siano le strade che sceglierà, ma di certo questo posto sembra fatto per lei.
