The Testina never disappoints! Even tonight I had a divine dinner, the braised meat was so tender that you could cut it with your gaze, always accompanied by a good wine recommended by Massimo.

Nice place but the yellow risotto with osso bucco is definitely not up to par. The osso bucco was not veal but beef or veal (it was huge and with dark meat), soft but not right and above all not to be served with a stew or braised sauce. The osso bucco must be in gremolada and veal!

I've been to Testina twice and, for now, my rating is 4 stars. The first time I tasted the osso buco with risotto and it was spectacular, really delicious! The second time, however, it didn't convince me in the same way: it was good, but it lacked that extra edge that had struck me the first time. I intend to go back a third time to get a definitive idea. In any case, it is a restaurant that I recommend for those who want to try typical Milanese dishes. Let's hope that on the next round the osso buco will be at its best again!

Excellent pasta and beans served in the Zuppiera… nice place, in Via Vecchia Milano, even if a little too noisy due to the proximity of the tables..

Ristorante-“trattoria” che punta tutto sulla cucima tipoca milanese. Buoni gli antipasti e buone le cotolette. Da velocizzare un pochino il servizio Comunque lo Consiglio

04/01/2025: It's the second time I've come here, having wanted to give the place a second chance, but unfortunately my opinion hasn't changed. Excellent service and environment but that's not enough! The food is forgettable plus skimpy portions even for the average in Milan. Wine served in French bistro glasses at the same price as a standard glass. Seems like a little trick that wasn't needed...
23/12/2024: Raramente scrivo recensioni, ma questo posto la merita proprio perché ha centrato in pieno l’obiettivo: materie prime ricercate e di altissima qualità, lavorate con fantasia e maestria, servite con simpatia e cordialità. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, nessuna fretta per lasciare il tavolo (nonostante fosse il 22 dicembre e fuori imperversasse la folla natalizia ) perciò consigliatissimo per un pranzo/cena in famiglia o con amici. Grazie ragazzi siamo stati davvero bene, torneremo (da Genova..)!

10/01/2025: A traditional Milanese restaurant with a pleasant, almost rustic atmosphere. Very professional service. Detailed explanations of the wines, though perhaps a bit lengthy. Very good food, although the menu is somewhat limited. The price is high for the area, but in line with the quality of the food.
06/01/2025: All decorated for Christmas, typical Milanese cuisine, recommended👍
