Terrazza Val D'Orcia In Pienza

Highly recommended, great food, great view, not as busy as the places in the city

I went to dinner with my wife in this wonderful location, but unfortunately the extremely slow service made the food go awry. Is it possible to serve only two dishes (starter and first course) in 2 hours and 10 minutes? Yes, it is possible, and in the end we also had to give up the dessert (ordered and never arrived after 35 minutes of further and vain waiting) given the extreme slowness with which the dishes arrived to all the diners present. The waiters were kind all things considered but when it came to the bill we would have expected at least an apology, given the annoyance expressed at not having been able to enjoy the dessert. You are in Pienza in a fairytale location, you cannot offer such a poor service. Ah, the food is still good, but it makes you want to comment on it only at the last minute given the dripping that this restaurant subjects you to.

Beautiful place with an enchanting view, it is possible to make the entire menu gluten-free, I chose stuffed tortelloni sautéed with butter and sage and they were delicious, even if the quantities could have been more abundant. delicious cold cuts platter, and finally the thing that left me speechless were the desserts (all gluten-free). I got a chocolate treat that was stellar. We just need more staff because the service is quite slow, but it's not the kids' fault because they are really very nice and good.

I also made a reservation and visited, but I was initially upset because they said that the good seats were already reserved. However, the other server was very kind and the view was very good, so it remains a good memory. The food was also delicious. I was originally thinking about the T-bone steak, but I think it was a very good choice to eat the other meat that the server recommended. Hugo sprints were also very delicious. I definitely want to visit again someday.

The view and what we ate were wonderful. You may be able to find a seat without a reservation, but if you want a table on the terrace overlooking the view, be sure to make a reservation.

Restaurant with spectacular views of the Val D'Orcia just outside the walls of Pienza, excellent dishes served by trained and friendly staff.

Very beautiful restaurant with an absolute amazing view 😳 very hard to describe the view over the tuscan vineyards, fields and forests. Food was on top level aswell!!

Outstanding food, I recommend the beef carpaccio, the tour of Tuscany cheese platter, and the cacio de Pepe.
