The Metropole is located very exclusively directly on the lake. There is no better place than to drink a red wine on a lakeside balcony and enjoy the magnificent view. The rooms are small and were only partially renovated. A general renovation is currently taking place and we are looking forward to the result. The restaurant was never worth mentioning. We rarely had breakfast there. Here we hope for a nicer interior and, above all, for an appropriate gastronomic concept... Opening year currently 2026...

06/05/2025: This was a very disappointing experience. The service was poor, as the waiter never checked in with us about anything. The food was just okay; the pasta was fine but the fish was very dry. It’s a quaint place with potential but they need to improve their food and service.
