We just returned home from a wounderful 10-day stay in Rome, in hotel Eitch Borromini. The location of the hotel is excellent. Right on the Piazza Navona. From there very easy access to the major attractions by foot. We had a great spacious room, excellent beds and bathroom amenities. The staf itself is also 5*!
Very helpful, speaking several foreign languages, especially english, so the communication is easy. Dragos, from the reception, is amaking you feel at homen excellent host. Very helpful and making you feel very welcome. We recommend the hotel highly.

Outstanding experience. Wonderful, attentive though unobtrusive staff. Appreciated the coffee machine and a dedicated person who attended to the coffee bar area every day. Room was huge. Perfect location and close to everything. Wonderful breakfast. Amazing rooftop bar. Beautiful place to stay. I loved it.

The hotel is centrally located, with the famous Piazza Navona just around the corner - about a one-minute walk away. There are separate entrances for the reception and the rooms, which may be inconvenient if it’s raining heavily and you’re carrying luggage.
We stayed in a Classic Room and, to be honest, were a little shocked that the room was smaller than it appeared in the official hotel photos. It was generally fine for us since we didn’t spend the entire day in the room, but we did have some difficulty placing and managing our luggage. The bathroom, however, was spacious.
Overall, we did enjoy our stay, and the staff at the reception was great, but I’d like to point out a few issues:
Our room was supposed to have a street view, but it actually faced the interior of the building, overlooking other room windows. I only realized this after we returned home.
The heated towel rail in the bathroom didn’t work. At first, we thought we didn’t know how to operate it, but it turned out to be faulty. We were offered a replacement room, but it was already the end of our second day, and repacking and unpacking would have been a hassle. As a result, we accepted a cold bathroom and wet towels. All facilities should have been checked and fixed before check-in.
The hot shower could also use more heat. Even at the maximum setting, the water was still rather lukewarm, which wasn’t ideal during winter. Perhaps this could be adjusted for future guests.
The housekeeping staff seems to have the habit of not replenishing some of the amenities, such as body cream and shower caps, and we felt bad having to call reception to request them.
Lastly, the TV in the room required a lot of trial and error to get working each time. Despite following the provided instructions, we still had to press different buttons randomly to get a signal; otherwise, it would repeatedly display “No Signal.”

Absolutely loved our stay at Eitch Borromini—it was the perfect home base for experiencing Rome. The hotel is set right on Piazza Navona, without question one of the most beautiful squares in the city, and being able to step out into that atmosphere each day felt incredibly special.
The staff truly defines what luxury hospitality should be. They were always available, incredibly attentive, and genuinely thoughtful—offering excellent recommendations for drinks and restaurants, making all of our reservations seamlessly, and keeping us informed of any changes along the way. Everything felt effortless and perfectly handled.
Our room was completely new, beautifully designed, and surprisingly spacious for such a historic location. It was incredibly comfortable, calm, and felt like a true retreat after long days exploring the city.
The location couldn’t have been better—walkable to everything, surrounded by fantastic restaurants, and immersed in the heart of Rome. Being attached to a stunning cathedral made the experience even more memorable, giving the feeling of staying in historic Rome while enjoying all the modern comforts and refinement of a luxury hotel.
Definitely will be staying at Eitch Borromini next trip to Rome!
