Very friendly little restaurant, with waitresses who were both pleasant and accommodating. Since I don't eat pecorino, which is often found in pasta, I was pleasantly surprised to be able to enjoy a homemade pasta dish specially prepared with only parmesan: a real treat! My wife, a big fan of carbonara pasta, enjoyed one of the best she had tasted in Rome. We also had a bottle of wine, which was excellent and very reasonably priced, with very good recommendations from the staff. It's surprising to see that this restaurant, much better than others in the area (and that we have tried), remains quite confidential and not very busy. Moral: it's better to trust the reviews than the number of tables occupied on the terrace!

My wife and I ate here for our last night in Rome. It was fantastic, delicious food, excellent service. We do not speak Italian and that was not an issue at all.

Delicious food for a great price. The attention was great the place is beautiful and you can’t feel the outside heat inside. The caccio e pepe was like a warm hug and even in this heat it was incredible!

First dinner in Rome and could not be better. Located close to Piazza Navona, I could enjoy its cozy terrace and a tasty dish of pasta Caccio e Pepe.

Best service and kindest staff! We had amazing black truffle ravioli and gricia short pasta, as well as wine, bread and tiramisu. Would absolutely recommend to anyone craving a nice, enjoyable meal!😊

Si quieres cenar en el corazón de Roma sin frenar el banco, te sugiero que vengas aquí. Sin embargo, he comido mejor en los suburbios de Roma, y ese es un problema típico con el que te encontrarás cuando viajes por grandes ciudades, como Roma. El servicio, en cambio, era impecable. Definitivamente inténtalo.

Osteria Bar Orbitelli

12/06/2025: The Orbitelli would have to be the best seafood restaurant in Rome. The meal was absolutely outstanding. Generous serves of high quality, well prepared and presented seafood that was well priced. A quaint, family run venue and family style hospitality. Couldn't recommend more highly. Well done Osteria Orbitelli!
06/06/2025: Despite the late hour, we received a very warm welcome. The place is in its original state and a bit vintage, but the welcome is family-friendly. Even before ordering, we were offered a bruschetta to whet our appetite. Here, all the cuisine is traditional Italian, the sauces are full of local cheeses, and the charcuterie smells deliciously local. It was a wonderful discovery and a superb experience that we will undoubtedly repeat before the end of our stay in Rome.
