Located right next to the Cathedral of Assisi, it is a small restaurant where the courtesy and availability of the owner who works in the room are the added value. Good choice on the menu. The dishes we chose were excellent: appetizer of local cured meats with torte al testo and mezze penne with Chianina sauce. The house wines by the glass are absolutely worth trying.

We had dinner yesterday with our dog in this very nice restaurant. The food is excellent and the boy is very knowledgeable and kind.

Modern hostaria with a refined atmosphere in the center of Assisi. The menu is not very extensive but offers high quality traditional dishes and generous portions. I enjoyed an exquisite jugged guinea fowl, accompanied by a very tasty condiment of bacon, olives and spring onions. While waiting I was offered a slice of bread with sublime oil. The wine by the glass, a Montefalco, is also excellent. Prices in line with the quality. There are no additional costs such as cover charge. I paid exactly what I ordered. The leg of ham in plain sight on the counter to my right was a constant temptation! Elegant space, with background music and soft light, beautiful atmosphere.

Good quality food at fair prices (you don't have to pay a cover charge here). Friendly and helpful service, even when changing the menu. Medium-sized environment, with a small mezzanine, nice and located in the historic center. Advised.

Great hospitality, customer care taken care of perfectly. Very quiet place and excellent food. However, I would recommend re-locking the door, a little chilly also due to the strong wind. I will definitely return!👍

The food was just ok. We had the gnocchi with wine sauce and the spaghetti with pork cheek. The gnocchi was not very good and didn't have much flavor. The spaghetti al Rancetto was okay. There wasn't much pork in the dish. The noodles tasted like fancy cardboard, and I felt like there wasn't enough sauce in the dish. We got two of the homemade cakes. They were okay, as well. The service was fine. We were seated, order was taken and left alone.

Tuvimos una comida maravillosa aquí esta noche. Este es un restaurante familiar. El servicio es rápido e informativo. Teníamos el salami mezclado y el plato de queso como entrada. Había hervido coppa sazonado con naranja y canela por primera vez (una carne de invierno) luego el spezzatino de jabalí (bien sazonado y cocinado) mi amigo tenía torta di nonna para terminar. Buena botella de (precio justo) Sagrantino con la comida. Digestiv local para terminar. No podría recomendar más.

If I could give it a 10 I would. If you’re in Assisi, this is the place to have lunch/dinner. The eggs with truffles is one of the best dishes I’ve eaten in my life. The mezze maniche with ragu is incredible. Just amazing food.
