Unlike my friend Apheiron, I found the dinner very delicious. The slope of the table was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and waiting just an hour for four plates of pasta was also a pleasant experience. More than a dinner, it was an escape room.

We had dinner this evening, right in the center of Assisi. We ordered a selection of cheeses and cured meats accompanied by torta al testo... Excellent! Two first courses: strozzapreti with Norcia black wine (very tasty and a generous portion) and gnocchi with goose sauce (also excellent). The staff were friendly and the place was clean and tidy. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Very cute little place right in the center. Quality food and local cuisine; the charcuterie and cheese platter is highly recommended. Service could be improved, but it's definitely adequate. Recommended!

The food was absolutely excellent! The rabbit was fantastic and best Aperol Spritz & salad we have had in Italy so far. Delicious Torta Della Nonna. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful night's sleep at this accommodation. The owner also has a restaurant with a very diverse selection of pizzas, but you can also order other dishes. The service was friendly, competent, and helpful. We had a delicious meal in a beautiful setting. The holiday feeling is greatly enhanced when you're here.

Locale forse dall’atmosfera un po’ “freddina” ma la nostra è stata una fermata breve per un apericena che tutto sommato ci ha soddisfatto, sia i prodotti che la qualità, accompagnato da due clici di vino “generosi” per la quantità: dalle nostri parti ne servono di meno…. Servizio cortese e veloce, poche persone all’interno visto anche l’orario, abbiamo apprezzato che anche senza prenotazione ci hanno fatto accomodare senza alcun problema.

Innanzi tutto la signora è molto simpatica si mangia benissimo il prezzo è giusto per una località turistica,se fate una puntatina ad Assisi ve lo consiglio

17/08/2025: We had a wonderful time. We started with the very special Angus carpaccio with buffalo mozzarella. We continued with a second course and then the cannoli to finish, a delight. All highly recommended.
17/08/2025: Truly an excellent restaurant in Bevagna, Umbrian but not only because the chef is Sicilian and makes delicious cannoli.

27/08/2025: I have been all over Europe and to Italy 5 times. Never have I had such a sublime meal as at Osteria Pozzo Della Mensa. The ravioli was amazing and the rolled pork wrapped in guanciale, lightly dusted with rock salt before plating, was bursting with flavor. You don’t want to miss out on this restaurant. VERY highly recommend!,
17/08/2025: A truly beautiful place in the center of Assisi. Excellent risotto and meat, too. Wonderful outdoor courtyard, excellent and friendly service, especially Flavia, who is truly sweet. I recommend trying the Rocciata for dessert...truly delicious.
