This restaurant was recommended by our rbnb host and was truly a great find. The food was very good and the waitress was simply wonderful. She was incredibly kind throughout our meal, smiling and very welcoming.
A place to discover; be careful, you must book in advance; otherwise, you risk not getting a seat, as the reputation is so good.

If you know the weather isn't the best, for those who have booked and are coming from out of town, you need to give them an option and organize themselves with the air-conditioned indoor dining room instead of saying: look, we don't know what to do yet because it's bad weather, but if you want, you can stay here under the gazebo. People get discouraged and leave. And if it wasn't air-conditioned at all, accommodate the customer anyway and turn on the air conditioning right away... it's work. And even the day before, if reservations are active from 9 or 9:30 pm and people without reservations arrive at 8 pm... they can find time to seat people and serve two pizzas in an hour and a half, oh dear. Also because in the meantime, for an hour or more, the tables were empty waiting for reservations. It seems like they just don't want to work except for those who book and always based on the weather. It's absurd to see this lack of empathy towards the customer and poor organization in 2025. And if you ask for takeout, given that you didn't book at 8 p.m....no, look, we have opening hours there too...and in the meantime, everyone was out there waiting, doing nothing. It seems like they'll kick you out and get bored even talking to you. Absurd.

Excellent place... we were lucky because they told us that you usually have to book MUCH in advance... But it must have been luck, we booked the same evening...,🤪🤪 Recommended

Tempo Zero is a welcoming and authentic pizzeria in the heart of Maruggio: excellent pizza, traditional Apulian dishes, warm service, and fair prices. It's best to book in advance, especially during high season.

Tempo Zero, Maruggio
In the heart of one of Puglia's most beautiful medieval villages, Tempo Zero is a triumph of flavor and hospitality. Here, the journey begins with the exquisite appetizers: a succession of small gastronomic gems prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Grilled vegetables flavored with fine olive oil, fava beans, traditional meatballs, local cured meats and cheeses that speak of the land, and a few creative delights that surprise the palate.
The pizza is a chapter in itself: light, fragrant, and well-cooked dough, generous toppings, and raw ingredients that taste of sun and sea. The first and second courses also deserve a mention, with full, authentic, and well-balanced flavors.
But the real miracle of the evening has a name: Sara. A waitress like no other. Attentive, attentive, and attentive, she captures every need before you even express it, textbook speed, innate kindness, and a rare ability to make you feel special. Surprising is an understatement: Sara is the soul of Posto Zero (a rare commodity, it's increasingly difficult to find capable staff).
Completing the picture is Roberto, the attentive and generous owner. It's a shame he didn't indulge in dessert :-)
Little Luigi—aka "Harry Potter," nicknamed by me for his disarming resemblance—whose kindness and professionalism made the dinner even more memorable.
The only hiccup? The red wine... served hot! But no need to panic: the situation turned into a comical skit that had not only our table but half the people around us laughing. And perhaps that's the beauty of it: here, even the unexpected turns into memorable moments.
Conclusion: Posto Zero isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience that combines sublime food, rare hospitality, and the charm of one of Puglia's most beautiful villages.
In short: excellent cuisine, a family atmosphere, and service that makes all the difference, all set in a picture-perfect village.
I hope I've given everyone due credit and left nothing out.
Oh, I'll be back!
P.S. Roberto, put the red on the KTM cooler!
With all my heart, Luciano (a poet, but not too much)

I wasn't thrilled with the variety of the menu, much less the quality. It could be better, and I recommend the warm lighting under the umbrellas on the terrace.
Otherwise, it's okay.
