We had dinner here on 5 nights. We didn't book for the first evening but we found a table straight away. As for the staff, in our opinion they should be a little more friendly. We didn't eat badly but we didn't eat excellent either, in fact, in our opinion the value for money is a bit high.

Veramente ottimo personale gentile carbonara super e cacio e pepe ottima! I saltimbocca di medio livello porzioni abbondanti e di qualità! Dolci veramente buoni! Vi consiglio crostata ricotta e marmellata! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio

Tornato dopo 5/6 anni : cucina romana tradizionale con piatti abbondanti e ben cucinati . La simpatia e la professionalità di titolare e camerieri . Ambiente informale e buon rapporto qualità prezzo

We were in Rome for 3 days, and we had 2 dinners in this restaurant because we wanted to be on the safe side! Exceptional carbonara, so much so that I took it both times.. Generous portions for both the first courses and the desserts.. Delicious grandmother's cake and sacher! Very nice and joking staff.. Congratulations indeed!

On Christmas Day, Fanelli was closed, so I went next door for lunch, and it was a restaurant I never expected!! The carbonara was not greasy, and I ordered seafood spaghetti, and the seafood was very fresh in the oil base!! The portion was large and I was full. It was very windy, but I warmed up after drinking the house wine.

31/08/2024: Amazing ambiance and service, aperol spritz and carbonara were fantastic!
29/08/2024: For sure the best pasta I’ve had in Rome so far. We started with the calamari which was incredibly simple but probably the best i’ve ever had. I got the Gricia (now I’ve tried all four roman pastas!!) and it was delicious! My mom had the Amatriciana, we both stuffed ourselves so full we struggled on the ~4 minute walk back to our hotel. The staff were wonderfully kind, and the energy in there is very welcoming. You can tell every piece of decor on the walls was placed intentionally. Will 10000% be back here if I ever find myself back in Rome!! ❤️❤️
