My friend and I have been there twice in the space of 3 days. The atmosphere is simple and quiet, and the food is typical Roman, fresh and high quality. Excellent! We both recommend it.

A platter of simple, fresh produce. Delicious scamorza with speck. Very quick and attentive service. There was no coffee, but not all pubs have it (perhaps Irish coffee is more popular in Irish pubs...), so I think that's pretty normal. A solid review, though; definitely worth a stop!

A lifesaver for those who often work late; very late. The pub style is intimate and authentic. The bacon burgers and chicken cutlets are delicious and plentiful. The fries are honest and dry. Among the few, but good, beers available, we ordered the Elephant: the "medium" doesn't quite reach the pint, and anyway, I remembered it being more flavorful a few years ago. There are plenty of drink options, and I saw a nice cocktail list. The service was really friendly and fast. The bill was very fair.

French people, sit in the small recess. Ideal for drinking beers and snacking instead of pizzas and pasta (aperitif platters, paninis, and others if you're more hungry)

Historic neighborhood pub with a view of the Dome. Good beer, excellent cocktails, and good food at reasonable prices. Lunch also features excellent first courses. They offer Roman classics, plus a special of the day. The salads are also delicious, along with classic pub fare like burgers and sausages. A warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere. Always a great place to be.

18/05/2026: I ate very well, it wasn't the first time I'd been there. A well-kept place where the food is very good.
17/05/2026: Exceptional raw fish!!! A uniquely delicate amberjack carpaccio. I even smelled a faint hint of truffle, which was perfect. Perhaps the oil? The oysters and fresh scampi. I always try something different, and I mean, everything was delicious. From the first course: fettuccine with eggplant, capers, swordfish, and arugula pesto😋 to the last—a lemon delicacy with a magnificent gelato center!!! Everything here is perfect, from the presentation to the taste. If you want a treat after a hard week of work, this is the place. Thank you 🙏🏻

21/05/2026: We came here having seen some reviews on Reddit and it truly lived up to its hype! We came around opening time, left a name and were told to come back in an hour which was very convenient as you didn’t have to stand in line the entire time. For starters, we had the offal which came highly recommended online. It was served with chicory and a bun however we generally aren’t offal fans and this didn’t change my opinion of it. Next we had the amatriciana and gricio for pasta. Both were excellent and the amatriciana was definitely the best pasta we had in Rome and perhaps in recent memory! It came with a lovely sugo and rigatoni al dente, and lovely crispy flavourful bits of guanciale. The gricia was also very good and was up there with some of the best pastas we had in Rome. We also shared the lamb, which again was very good. The meat was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Overall, I highly recommend this place for some excellent pasta and Roman food.
21/05/2026: Favorite restaurant across Venice, Florence, and Rome. Incredible food and kind service. Andrea is wonderful!
