A very cozy restaurant; we were pleasantly surprised. The pasta was excellent – perfectly al dente and wonderfully seasoned. The carpaccio was deliciously tender and fresh, exactly how you imagine it in Italy. The service was friendly and attentive; we immediately felt welcome. The prices were absolutely fair for Venice, and overall it was a truly delightful evening. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back!

We were on our feet all day and went to dinner at an unusual time in Italy.
Based on a recommendation, we had the seafood appetizer platter... so delicious. For the main course, we chose sea bream. So soft and tender... indescribable.
It's a real insider tip and fantastic.

We ate here several times during our stay in Venice. There was no other alternative that could compete with San Maurizio in terms of taste, friendliness of the staff, and cozy atmosphere. This restaurant has us already planning our next trip to Venice! We have rarely been welcomed and served so warmly in a restaurant! Truly a hidden gem of Venice! Thank you so much to Davis and the entire team!

We stopped in just as the staff were having their dinner (we eat early). We offered to come back later but they wouldn't hear of it! Service was excellent. Food was beyond excellent. Had caprese salad, grilled beef and vegetables and lasagne bolognese.

Excellent diner avec un plat du jour exquis ! Accueil attentionné et sympathique. Toutefois un Bar à 80€ ...c'est vraiment trop cher. Le vin comme en Italie à prix raisonnable

Nel pieno centro di Venezia, tra Accademia e San Marco ma in un campo tranquillo e non molto frequentato c’è questo ristorante con tavoli sia all’esterno che all’interno con piatti tipici e turistici, molto ben eseguiti, con materie prime di qualità. Servizio rapido e molto cortese, prezzi in linea con la città, ma non si rimane delusi.
Insomma: posto serio, non una fregatura acchiappa turisti, provatelo.
