The dining room is small, but the meat menu is good (tartare, carpaccio, fillets, and tagliata). Good quality and meticulously prepared. I recommend it!

I tried the tagliata and cicorietta, both truly excellent. The wine list is also nice.

Excellent. An intimate and romantic place. Soft lighting and a chirping cricket serenade. Excellent food and wine. Frequented by high-profile guests. What can I say... an excellent sensory and taste experience. We were just passing through, but we'll be back.

Fabulous place, quality meat. I had the Natural tartare, beef tagliata, and rib-eye steak. Everything was fabulous and delicious. The staff was very helpful and courteous. It was worth every penny. The photos don't convey the perceived quality, but trust me, everything was fabulous.

It was definitely the best italian food i ate in my 14 day trip in this region. Everything was the best of the best.

Tavernetta del Borgo is the definition of a cozy, hole-in-the-wall, place with a menu that will surprise and amaze you! There are only a handful of tables, so it would be best to reserve a spot. The menu centers on beef: tartare and steaks. We ate here twice, so we experience different menu items and every dish was excellent! I recommend any of the tartare dishes. There is an incredible wine selection lining the walls and you can choose from the massive wine list. The restaurant has two workers, presumably husband and wife. He is the chef in the kitchen, mastering the blade for those fine cuts of beef. She runs all the front-of-house operations from host, server, and cashier. Together, they make a great team and you won't walk away hungry! The only downside is that it can be slow because of the limited staff, but don't let that stop you from visiting!!! Enjoy!
