A gorgeous, sunny mid-October day made even more special by a truly perfect lunch overlooking the sea! We enjoyed truly delicious and carefully prepared dishes, served by a friendly staff who knew how to offer the best advice. All this was complemented by the warm welcome from Matteo, the owner: a man from another era, authentic and full of passion. It's definitely a place that makes you feel at home and where you can't wait to return!

This used to be a good restaurant but it has clearly succumbed to becoming a “tourist trap”. The location is really nice and the people who work there are lovely, but the food is overpriced and mediocre at best, flavourless and bland. The mussels and clams tasted like they were boiled as opposed to sautéed with aromatics and wine, the fried mix was largely composed of little fish and barely anything else. Overpriced drinks too. We were really disappointed as we’ve come here a few times over the years and it used to be better. Pity to see another restaurant fall like this.

Excellent family-run restaurant, good, fresh food

Discovered by chance, we'll definitely be back. The sardines are AMAZING. Maks ate and drank like never before in Trieste, and he eats and drinks a lot. Long live Pakistan, the Republic, and the Serenissima. I hope to end up reviewing on Trip Advisor feeling like great chefs. Kami and Maks

The sunset is so beautiful, paired with excellent seafood dishes. Great value for money. I recommend it if you're in Trieste.

Ieri sera ho cenato con la mia compagna in questo posticino caratteristico e tranquillo consigliato da un amico. Spesso da Venezia mi trovo a Trieste. Pesce fresco, piatti ottimi e servizio veloce. Prezzi nella media rispetto l’ottima cena. Sicuramente consigliato.

Siamo stati due sere consecutive in questo ristorante, dato che era vicinissimo al nostro hotel e dopo aver percorso Trieste in lungo e largo era un ottima sosta per noi. Molto frequentato, forse anche per le giornate festive offre un ambiente semplice, ma particolare, dispone anche di tavoli all'aperto ma abbiamo preferito l'interno. Menu' molto ricco in tema pesce. La nostra preferenza va ad un antipasto di crudo molto appetitoso e veloce per poi passare a dei paccheri con sugo gamberi davvero eccezionali ed un branzino delicatissimo. Il tutto innaffiato da un vino locale. Non poteva mancare poi uno sgroppino al limone non molto alcolico . La seconda sera ci siamo "affogati" con una pentolaccia di bigoli allo scoglio, che pero' in verità mancavano di un "quid" per dare il giusto tono... non so se un pizzico di sale e pepe o un pochino di ... Insomma per 50 euro due porzioni potevano essere un pochino meglio... Comunque cortesia e ospitalità hanno condito il tutto, innaffiato da un vino fermo della casa.
