This place is a true gem hidden in the Eternal City's liveliest neighborhood, a haven of authentic flavors where every bite tells a story of passion and dedication. Imagine sitting in a welcoming atmosphere, with the air scented with Mediterranean herbs and a wood-fired oven crackling like a secret symphony, just steps from the Vatican and the Tiber... Let's start with the absolute star of the evening: the freshest fish. I ordered a mixed grill, and I swear, it was as if it had been caught that very afternoon from the crystal-clear Tyrrhenian Sea! Tender, juicy, with a golden crust that sealed every drop of seafood flavor—shrimp, calamari, and sea bream cooked to perfection, nothing frozen or banal here: it was pure, vibrant, an explosion of freshness that makes you close your eyes and relive the waves. If you love seafood on your plate, this is heaven! And then, the delicious pizza... oh my! A pizza with sausage and mushrooms, cooked to perfection in that magical oven. The crust is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with tomatoes that taste like Italian summer and cheese that melts like a dream. It's more than just a pizza: it's a caloric embrace, a tribute to Neapolitan tradition reinterpreted with ingenious touches. I had to resist the temptation to order a second. But the real heart of this experience? The impeccable service of Giorgio and Nello. What a fantastic duo! Giorgio, with his infectious smile and encyclopedic knowledge of the menu, guided us with spot-on recommendations, making every choice a success. Nello, too, is a master of hospitality: attentive, kind, always one step ahead to anticipate our desires, from refilling our glass of chilled wine to sharing funny anecdotes that turned dinner into a celebration among friends. The owner and staff treat you like family, in a clean and welcoming place that makes you feel at home. My heartfelt congratulations to you two: you are the soul of this Taverna, and thanks to you we felt not just like customers, but like guests of honor in a much-loved home.

A Roman restaurant, Roman pizzas, wood-fired oven, excellent meat, excellent fish, we tried a bit of everything and we will definitely be back, a nice atmosphere and very good waiters and excellent service

Stopped in for pizza and prosecco. Large pours and pizza was good. Would come back!
