Alessio, the chef, is exceptional, as is the entire team that supports him. The Lollipops are truly extraordinary, and all the traditional dishes are seasoned with a touch of innovation that delights not only the palate but all five senses. Highly recommended! PS: by the way, the location is top notch.

In the summer, you can eat outside. The place is pleasant inside, but if there are a lot of people, the voices echo. The food isn't bad, but the prices are high. When you leave, you feel like you've spent a lot and eaten just fine. It's worth a visit at least once for anyone who hasn't been. We won't be returning.

We went for lunch with the family, partly because we were curious about four restaurants.
Meanwhile, we really liked Montecassiano, where we'd never been before, but let's get back to us!!!
The place is beautiful, clean, and renovated, but also quite scattered.
The service? The girls were impeccable, congratulations.
The dishes? Pretty much what we expected, revisited but with a focus on tradition. The chef was excellent...
The bill? Really low.
If you're in the area, stop by.

Taverna di San Nicoló enjoys a stunning location in the beautiful historic center of Montecassiano. The interior is well-maintained and distinctive, with its brick vaults. It's cool and spacious, yet not at all oppressive despite the limited natural light. The Easter menu was amazing, with carefully crafted appetizers and some much-appreciated innovations. The first courses were balanced and tasty. We had the fantastic ricotta cargiù and the fantastic pappardelle with duck ragù, with the addition of ginger, which, despite my hesitations, gave the dish character and a touch of freshness. The lamb with three peppers and the semifreddo were also very good. The service was prompt and attentive, and they were very kind in adapting the dishes for my son, who doesn't eat much spice. The bill was excellent and super fair. I highly recommend it. I also congratulate the chef, who has successfully experimented with tradition, with excellent results, I must say. A well-deserved five stars.

I had a spectacularly flavorful Florentine steak, but my wife's pizza was amazing!
The fresh bread and butter cream entree and the tartare were like a night of love! 😂

We had a lovely evening at dinner with a group of friends...
We sampled a good portion of the menu and were very satisfied. The fried food was excellent, dry and crispy, the grilled meat was spectacular and tender, and the service was attentive and attentive throughout.
The medieval "cellar" setting where the spacious dining room is located is excellent.
Finally, a special mention for the chef's cuisine, which revisits the classics of Macerata cuisine with a few small innovations...
