My girlfriend and I had lunch here and really enjoyed it. The restaurant is very close to Gemelli Hospital, so it's easy to get to and could be a wonderful discovery in the area. The place is very cute and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to dine outside and had a great time. From the start, the waiters were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming: they welcomed us warmly, promptly brought us menus, and made us feel comfortable throughout the meal. We started with a Jewish-style artichoke for two, and it was truly exceptional: probably the best I've had in Rome so far. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked really well. I eat gluten-free, so I ordered a gluten-free matriciana, which I found to be very good, tasty, and well-prepared. It's not always easy to find a well-made gluten-free dish, so I appreciated it even more. My girlfriend had a carbonara, which was very creamy and truly excellent. We also had grilled lamb with potatoes and chicory, and this dish was also very good, tasty, and well-prepared. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing them. The total bill was €55, a price we found absolutely fair for what we ate, the quality of the dishes, and the service we received. Overall, it was a truly wonderful experience and it's definitely a place I'd happily return to. Five out of five stars, in my opinion.

The best food I ever had In Rome! I totally love his Cacio e Pepe, but everything I tasted on this restaurant was fantastic. The familiar atmosphere is friendly and Mauro is a welcoming host. This is the real deal, do not miss this gem!

A welcoming, family-friendly restaurant with traditional Roman dishes, cooked to perfection. Everything was excellent: puntarelle, artichoke alla giudia, and lamb. I'll have to return for the lamb...

Table for 15. Short wait times. One of the best carbonaras I've had in Rome. Spectacular stew, melted in your mouth. Very helpful and courteous staff. Highly recommended

How do you explain "love at first sight"? You can't! It happens! This is what happened to me at this place! Four days away on a business trip, I stumbled upon this place near my hotel and returned for lunch and dinner every day after!! Excellent food...special service, unique Roman flair, and helpful service! Typical, authentic Roman cuisine! No frills, no "posh" plating, but genuine...well done!!! If you can, come! You won't be disappointed!!

As soon as we walked in, we had this impression: oh, the best place we could have come for dinner! 🤤 My mouth was watering just looking at the other tables. As soon as we sat down, out of nowhere, fried Romanesco broccoli materialized on the table and were AMAZING! 🤩 The artichokes alla Giudìa and puntarelle with pecorino cheese were delicious, three first courses, all super good (cacio e pepe in forma 🤤), and to finish, a revisited tiramisu with ricotta, made to order (so worth the wait), which was AMAZING!! 😍 5 stars because that was all there was! ⭐️

I dined at Taverna Sacchetti two nights in a row. It was a wonderful experience: a variety of local dishes, the extremely kind staff, and Mr. Mauro's amazing cooking! Highly recommended!
