best pasta we had during our visit to Rome, not usual cheap tourist trap for sure, little bit expensier but worth every cent. If you expect cheap food avoid, but if you prefer very good homemade pasta with glass of excellent wine....

A true Roman gem! Taverna Ripetta has been family-run since 1952, and it shows in every detail. The warm hospitality, authentic atmosphere, and outstanding food made this one of the highlights of our visit to Rome. The pasta ai frutti di mare was simply exceptional—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. It's wonderful to see a family restaurant maintaining such high standards after so many years. If you're looking for genuine Roman hospitality and delicious traditional cuisine, Taverna Ripetta is a must. Highly recommended!

The hospitality here is exceptional. Owner Stefania and the staff running the floor are incredibly warm, friendly, and make you feel completely welcome from the moment you step inside. The cozy, intimate ambiance is tucked away perfectly from the main tourist rush, creating a charming and authentic vibe.The food was the absolute highlight of our trip. Everything is made with incredibly fresh ingredients. Do not miss the homemade spinach-stuffed ravioli, the perfectly cooked steak, or the artichoke appetizer. Be sure to save room for the rich, decadent tiramisu at the end!It is a small, intimate space, so tables are close together, but that only adds to the charm. Just make sure to book a reservation in advance because they are highly popular and space is limited. We will definitely be back!
