We stumbled upon it by chance. The food was simple but good. The atmosphere was warm and family-friendly. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The restaurant is absolutely amazing!! The food is amazing, authentic, inexpensive, and a far cry from the other touristy restaurants in Rome. The pizza is to die for with its thin, flavorful crust, the pasta is melt is authentic, and the environment feels like home. I came to Rome with a cold, and something about this restaurant and its hospitable staff drew my attention, and thank God it did. If you’re looking for something while on a budget this is your place!!

INCREDIBLE.
After landing quite late, we looked for somewhere to have dinner near the hotel and luckily we found this Taverna.
The staff is fantastic, super friendly and always smiling...and the food, besides being the cheapest in the whole city (pasta or pizzas for €6-7), is the most delicious.
A typical neighborhood Italian restaurant, without tourists, perfect for a real Italian experience.
We went back several nights during our stay because after trying restaurants in different parts of Rome, we haven't found anything better, neither in terms of quality, price, nor service—I repeat, unbeatable.
I will recommend it to everyone I know who comes here.

Ad un passo da viale Castro Pretorio, se volete mangiare davvero a due soldi, questa trattoria e’ la scelta giusta. Certo non pretendiamo di avere servizi TOP, ma la carta vincente e’ il rapporto qualità prezzo indiscutibile. Personale cordiale, scelta ampia di piatti tipici romani. Super economico
