Oggi sono ritornata per la seconda volta in questa settimana da Carmela e Maurizio, che dire semplicemente unici. Ho avuto il piacere di provare presso questo ristorante la loro MILZA DI MARE , un piatto unico nel suo genere. Ricetta antichissima della loro famiglia . Pur essendo originaria della costiera non la conoscevo . La freschezza del pesce si percepisce subito al primo assaggio, accompagnata da un equilibrio di sapori marini intensi e raffinati. La cottura era perfetta, esaltando ogni sfumatura di gusto senza coprire la delicatezza dell’ingrediente principale. Anche la presentazione è stata curata nei minimi dettagli, rendendo l’esperienza non solo un piacere per il palato, ma anche per gli occhi. Un piatto che da solo vale la visita. Consigliatissimo!

On a splendid weekend in October, looking for a place to have lunch, we found the Pescioli tavern, a small and delightful place located among the streets of the historic center of Cava De' Tirreni. The owner, very friendly, immediately welcomed us warmly and proposed a series of ancient flavors in expertly prepared dishes. During the tasting of the various dishes, Maurizio, originally from Torre Annunziata, told us his anecdotes and how as a child, thanks to his grandmother, he cultivated a passion for cooking, creating traditional seafood dishes of the past. And to finish on a high note, a taste of spectacular desserts, prepared by his wife. To be recommended, at Taverna Pescioli it is like spending a Sunday at grandmother's house, rediscovering lost flavours. The couple from Sala Consilina

This evening we were guests of this place. First of all, the environment is small but very welcoming, comfortable and hospitable enough to make us feel at home; furthermore attention has been paid to the smallest details, decorated both on the walls and on the serving plates with the famous Vietri ceramics. The food was really excellent and above all fresh, prepared with equal care, a true enhancement of the flavors of the sea and the Amalfi coast. The owners of the exquisite people. We will certainly return with great pleasure.
