Lunch stop at this small restaurant after visiting San Gimignano. The truffle tartare was simple but good, the pasta was dry, and the side dishes were very small… The welcome was unfriendly and the service sluggish…

We ordered two carbonara dishes that were mediocre. The downside was that the pieces of bacon served were almost entirely just fat. The biggest drawback was the lack of hygiene: the waiter serving the dining room was covering his coughs with his hands and, without washing them, was handling plates and cutlery to serve customers.

A very pleasant lunch at Osteria San Giovanni. The dishes were excellent, however, the waiter said the pasta was homemade, which I don't believe. In any case, the prices are good and it was worth it.

05/01/2026: GOOD MORNING We had a really WONDERFUL New Year's Eve dinner!!!! The food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the timing was perfect so we could then go out and stroll before celebrating midnight. The price was RIGHT!!!! We'll definitely be back. 04/01/2026: ...we were with a group of camper friends... 30 people for New Year's Eve!! What can I say... the food was excellent, the service was perfect, and the location was very nice, very close to the main square!! We had a great time, and they even set aside a room just for us!! Everything was delicious... the tagliatelle with duck ragù and the tagliata were sublime... and the chocolate salami was top notch!! Thank you so much!!

31/12/2025: We arrived late, but despite this, they welcomed us with courtesy and attention. The cuisine is an experience to behold. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Just steps from Piazza del Campo. Wonderful. Excellent value for money.
