Beautiful, typical Tuscan setting. We had a quick meal, but we really enjoyed the pigeons with breadcrumbs, anchovies, and chili pepper. The rabbit strips were also good, and the homemade desserts were excellent. For those who love dark chocolate, try the lingotto. The price is right, highly recommended.

We ate at this restaurant, right across from the MAEC in Cortona. It's an excellent location for exploring the city. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very spacious, and they even managed to accommodate us—even though there were 10 of us, no reservations, on a Sunday lunch.
On the downside: the wait was incredibly long, both for the first courses and between courses. Also, the coffee was truly awful.
On the upside: the food was overall good, with some tasty and unusual options on the menu (and several vegetarian options!). The gnocchi with ragù and truffle are highly recommended!

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was consistently friendly – although we had to ask for something to be cleared away several times.
Unfortunately, the food wasn't entirely convincing: the tomato bruschetta was very bland in flavor, and the portions were rather small overall. The drinks selection is also very limited – they only serve wine and water, which could be an important consideration for many.
Our dogs were tolerated, but unfortunately, they weren't offered water, something we've taken for granted in other restaurants.
In addition, the seating is very tight – you sit close together, which makes the experience less than relaxing.

Taverna in the square in Cortona, with a very familiar atmosphere, like a real tavern.
What can I say, I liked everything, the atmosphere, the food and the wine. Everything was really exceptional, a place where you can relax without spending too much despite its central location.

2giorni a Cortona per la Pasqua e 2 giorni in questa Osteria..Menu’ fisso per la Pasqua Ottimo.Antipasto con salumi e formaggio,primo e agnello in crosta fantastici.La sera di Pasquetta siamo tornati per il bis e non si e’ smentito.Piu che soddisfatti anche per il vino .Torneremo sicuramente👍
