Group lunch...we arrived at 2:00 PM, tired and hungry, and enjoyed exquisite dishes: pasta with macco di fave and braised cheeks with Aglianico. A true poem, worthy of Horace.

We had lunch here and it was delicious. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but it feels like a typical tavern, and the food is high-quality, with both the first and second courses excellent. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Perfect for a traditional lunch!

We were there in August. The owners were very kind and helpful with the kids and explained the dishes. Everything was very traditional, including the amazing cafati mollicati and pork dacciata. The location is a bit vintage, but very clean and still characteristic of the place. I'll be back when I return to Potenza.

Founded in 1932, it is considered a benchmark for traditional Lucanian cuisine, offering an authentic and historically rich culinary experience. Taverna Oraziana's menu is a tribute to Lucanian gastronomy, with dishes prepared according to traditional recipes and high-quality local ingredients. Among the most popular specialties: - *Fresh homemade pasta* in eight different shapes, such as strascinati, ferretti, and orecchiette, often served with ragù or breadcrumbs. - THE MAGICAL homemade *Peperoni cruschi*, crunchy and flavorful, typical of the Lucanian tradition, SUBLIME. - *Local meats* such as veal and black pig, sourced organically from the family farm [2]. - Grilled Lucanian cheeses. 26/11/2025: Lanterna Verde, in the heart of Trecchina, is a place that manages to combine the welcoming atmosphere of an osteria with the attention to detail of a restaurant and the versatility of a pizzeria. The menu is wide and varied, with carefully presented dishes and an almost gourmet touch, making the experience enjoyable from the very first glance. The portions aren't particularly generous, but the quality more than makes up for it. I didn't have the chance to try the pizza, but watching it being passed around the tables nearby, it looked truly inviting, well-leavened and packed with fresh ingredients. I opted for the meat, which was tender and flavorful, accompanied by simple but well-prepared side dishes. The cod fillet was also excellent, tender, delicate, and cooked with great balance of flavors. The deconstructed cake served at the end of the meal was a pleasant surprise, delicious without being heavy. The service was courteous and helpful, with attentive but never intrusive staff. Overall, Lanterna Verde is a place worth a visit: a refined restaurant with well-crafted dishes and a relaxing atmosphere. It deserves four stars, and I'm eager to return to finally try the pizza.
