The restaurant is in a beautiful location, near the shore. The ambiance could use a bit of a makeover, but it still offers excellent food. The spaghetti with sardines is especially recommended!

Really nice atmosphere restaurant with great food and service! Everyone was so kind, especially our Hungarian waitress! Köszönjük a kedvességed! We had grilled fish, it was really tasty! I would be happy to try other dishes when I’ll be in Trieste!

Everything we ordered was very good. Everything tasted like it was made at home. The battered squid was fantastic. It's the squid our grandmothers used to make and has nothing to do with the tasteless doughy rolls. Too bad we didn't have time to order dessert.

Five stars are not enough. It was really delicious. I think this is the first time I've had such delicious vongole pasta. The grilled fish was also delicious. They also sell 1L of house wine here, so I enjoyed the wine and the food very much. The staff was also very friendly. It's a taste that I keep thinking about.

Siamo arrivati ed il primo impatto non è stato il massimo : abbiamo notato un po’ di confusione nel servizio ed abbiamo atteso un po’ prima di essere presi in considerazione per le ordinazioni …poi quando sono arrivati i piatti….una meraviglia . Bruschette così buone mai mangiate. Caponata sublime . Antipasti caldi e freddi eccezionali . Iper consigliato .

Un angolo di Sicilia nel cuore di Trieste che propone sapori mediterranei. Abbiamo apprezzato soprattutto le orecchiette con pesce spada, ciliegino e melanzane. Buoni anche i dolci (cannolo e cassata). Siamo rimasti invece un po’ delusi dalla quantità dell’antipasto misto caldo di pesce. Consiglio di utilizzare lo sconto The Fork perché i prezzi non sono proprio economici.

05/07/2025: I would like to point out the saffron ingredient for pizza which is not easy to find☝️ The environment seems banal at first glance but tables and chairs are of excellent workmanship, as an appetizer they served us excellent "bag style" chips so thinly cut but made here. Recommended place.
03/07/2025: You come in and you feel at home, fabulous pizza, Mario and Alessandra two sunny, friendly and super welcoming hosts.

Buffet Da Gildo

15/08/2025: Quality dishes at a more than fair price. Very friendly and fast. If you're looking for an unpretentious lunch with excellent food, this is the place to be.
11/08/2025: A small but well-organized place. Even if there's a line, they move it quickly. They take your order while you're waiting, so your food is brought to you quickly once you're seated. The small place does lead to high noise levels, especially during peak hours. However, the service is friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent.
