A small but welcoming dining room, well-trained and competent staff, and a cuisine with plenty of substance and few frills.
On Sunday evening, I ate delicious fried Sanremo shrimp and excellent stuffed calamari, all accompanied by a Verdicchio di Iesi Riserva.
The wine list is rich in important labels.
Perfect price/quality ratio.
Very good.

Today we had a truly excellent culinary experience.
The menu is truly interesting. The raw fish dish was exceptional, and the other dishes we tried were excellent as well. I can't wait to try more.
The atmosphere, already pleasant in the alleys of Cervo, was enhanced by background music coming from a nearby building, from which classical music was being played on the piano by an invisible musician (I think it's a music school).
The wine selection was also excellent.
I will gladly return.

An excellent lunch, all about quality. We had Ligurian ravioli with artichokes and pecorino cheese and a sliced beef steak with artichokes. The first course was delicate yet bold, with the saltiness of the cheese perfectly complementing the freshness of the artichoke. The sliced beef steak with artichokes was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and of excellent quality. A culinary experience that expertly showcases the raw ingredients. We'll definitely be back!

January 15, 2026 - I found it by asking some construction workers where they went to eat, and they suggested Mandragola. It's certainly more expensive than the competition, but the portions are larger than the competition, and the food is well-prepared and of high quality. If I return to Cervo, I'll definitely stop by here again.

A small restaurant nestled in the streets of Cervo, seating is limited. The dishes are good and plentiful, but the prices are high, with first and second courses starting at €20. Given the portions, it's best to order just one course.

We arrived at the last minute without a reservation and they sat us in a beautiful little corner with a bench!!! The service was very fast and friendly... the food was plentiful and good... I highly recommend it.

If you want a warm atmosphere where you can eat top-quality fish, cooked with wonderful simplicity that highlights its freshness and quality, seasoned and accompanied by excellent olive oil and authentic vegetables, head to Guido at Taverna Mandragola, who can also recommend excellent wines to accompany the dishes you order.
The desserts are also excellent, and above all, the 8l liver with basil, which I recommend pairing with the excellent olive oil always available.
