Taverna Longobarda In Cividale del friuli

We went to dinner at this restaurant because we were looking for something typical, a standard place with fair prices, the waiter was kind and the service was fast. We ate outside and ordered two legumes and cereals risotto, frico served with polenta, snails bourguignon and a side of vegetables, water and two glasses of wine. We ate quite well, the dishes were nothing special we thought we would eat better and with more taste. The bathrooms are a bit small and quite clean. Overall nothing that could be some other similar place better at the same price. I will start by saying that we chose this place because the menu displayed had vegan options.

We went twice for lunch, excellent dishes, sufficiently abundant, well presented, reasonable price, To advise without hesitation, excellent welcome. Excellent dishes at a reasonable price and excellent hospitality. As an advisor without a doubt.

Fine food, friendly service, a pleasant setting, and good wine. What more could you want?

Nothing to complain about the place, quiet place with veranda, very peaceful. I took the Carnica-style gialsons and some Friulian wine, it was all good. The owner was a bit out of breath, he was left alone today by the staff, at the checkout I waited a bit to pay, out of empathy I said: 'were you left alone today?', first he comments saying that the staff didn't show up, then the piqued response: 'Ma'am, what am I worried about. That I have to put on food.' Furthermore, I was paying by card and had asked this question to chat, while waiting for the payment to be loaded. But if you have to put together food and you're alone, it's not our fault... Therefore 4 stars, instead of 5. Because you don't do this with the customer who empathizes with you, out of politeness. If you're alone, keep the place closed, don't be rude.

Great food. They have one vegetarian menu option (mushroom gratin + vegetables side dish) and was super tasty. The meat/fish eaters in the group were happy too. Friendly staff and quick service. Not too crowded.
