Taverna le Merinde In Gemona del friuli

We were there for the third time in 2024. Motorhome parking space is highly recommended. We're going back in May for ham and fillet steak, which is a good idea on the trip south. Very nice people, we don't speak a word of Italian and the service was great. Great family. Thank you very much

We stopped for lunch in this place, a little retro but very clean and bright. The choice of pizzas is very good and in fact we appreciated the pizza and also the raw ham that we took as an appetizer; friendly staff and reasonable prices

The “Da Willy” restaurant in Gemona del Friuli offers good pizzas, a varied menu with meat and local specialties, and a 80s atmosphere. Known for friendly service and good wine selection, it’s a good choice for casual dining.The restaurant has also a good dessert selection.

You reviewed the Tavern “La merinde” managed by the very kind Giorgio. Cozy place that makes you feel at home. If you come here, you absolutely must eat meat, and rely on the owner's advice. The quality of the raw materials is very high, from cheeses to cured meats. The radicchio and sausage pie is also very good. Very wide choice of wines. Very normal price with the quality offered.

On the way from Italy to Austria, we stopped at this wonderful restaurant. The pizza was delicious, with a perfect crust and fresh ingredients. The soup pleasantly surprised with its aroma and rich taste. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the lasagna was a real revelation - juicy and rich. The service is also at a high level: the staff is friendly and attentive. We recommend this restaurant to all connoisseurs of delicious Italian cuisine!

Nice, rustic hotel with good connections to the Alpe - Adria cycle path and not far from the motorway. The route to Udine via the country road is also great. The food is great.....breakfast....typically Italian but sufficient!

I consider Willy's pizza the best, so much so that when returning from the mountains I always recommend stopping in Gemona or simply stopping by to get some take-away pizzas. The pasta, in particular, is always thin, crunchy and, most importantly, digestible. Then, based on the season or holidays, the pizzeria offers themed pizzas.
