Very underrated pizza restaurant, with excellent value for the pizzas, which were delicious. The staff is friendly and the environment welcoming. Waiting times are very short. The prices are very low (even too low!) and we easily paid by credit card. It is sad to see that, in recent times, the restaurant has struggled to attract customers. I would strongly advise the owner to invest in taking care of online reviews, which are now fundamental for both tourists and residents. Let me explain: in the Pinciano-Ludovisi district, the central area of ​​Rome where the restaurant is located, there are many pizzerias and restaurants that manage to fill up every weekend evening (often in two shifts!), thanks to high scores, above 4, 5 stars, on review platforms. This makes the difference. In fact, searching on Google Maps, the "La Baita" restaurant did not even appear among the results for restaurants in the area, probably due to the score of 3.7, which makes it not very visible to people. It is essential to increase this score by encouraging positive reviews and working on the critical points that emerged from the negative ones. Furthermore, I believe that the real strong point of the restaurant are the pizzas. I suggest creating a more essential menu, 80% focused on them, considering that sometimes the negative reviews concern other dishes, but almost never pizzas. The restaurant has a lot of potential and deserves more. In any case, highly recommended for those looking for excellent pizza at an unbeatable price in the centre.
