A gen in Umbria tucked away in Sant Egedio. Creative fusion with traditional deliciousness. Were are here 3 of 4 notes in the area & would have gone the 4th but they were full. Robust list of local wines- Service was kind & knowledgable. We loved everything about this little gam

We ate dinner here three times, twice without a reservation. The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is very cozy. The appetizer platter for two is highly recommended (generous and delicious). The food is generally very good. Even the olive oil merchant on the other side of Perugia recommended the restaurant to us.

Traditional regional dishes cooked to perfection, simply but well presented in large portions. Excellent Sangiove as house wine. My visit was in January so all dining was inside. The outside terrace appeared to be in process of a rebuild, so I look forward to revisiting to try this in the summer.

Beautiful location, excellent food, nothing to complain about. Table service definitely needs improvement. Orders are forgotten and the service is lacking. The air conditioning has a hypothermic recirculation setting and the chairs are very uncomfortable. Not enough space between tables. The bathroom has no key and is very cold.

I don’t want to write a review in case other people find this amazing gem of a restaurant! Trust me when I say it does not need the customers as it is always full. I always have to reserve a table when I want to go. However, I have been at least 20 times and the owner and chef deserves the praise. His seasonal menu has particular standouts like the winter risotto with chestnuts, honey and Radicchio (bitter chicory)….. oh oh oh ( please don’t go there and eat this as there will be none left for me). It’s sublime, with equal hints of each ingredient - none in competition and the honey so subtle you can’t taste it but you know the sweetness is there. In June and July there are zucchini flowers filled with a tomato mousse baked al forno. For those who are meat lovers it’s a carnivore dream. Or those who like truffles, the small truffle type soufflé in both winter and summer. The fireplace, the stone cottage atmosphere, the summer outside terrace…. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE AND SPOIL IT FOR THE REST OF US WHO HAVE DISCOVERED THIS SECRET.

Oh my goodness, what a place!! A tavern that deserves at least a Michelin star! Mixed appetizers, tagliolini with truffles, and picagna... everything delicious and the atmosphere fantastic!! I will definitely return when I can!!

A culinary experience of the highest caliber. Sliced steak with red onion and phenomenal crispy guanciale, served with sautéed red cabbage. Lean meat and perfectly cooked.
