I must say that we had a wonderful meal, everything was perfect, but a special thanks goes to our great waiter, Dino, who served us spectacularly, truly making us want to return. I recommend it to everyone.

A typical trattoria in the Castelli Romani villages. Excellent food, beautifully presented in picturesque yet romantic dishes. For starters, we had artichoke salad, puntarelle with anchovies, and grilled pecorino romano. The only thing I'd point out to the garnishers is to use fewer arugula and lettuce leaves; in my opinion, they hide the dishes a bit too much, which are already very tasty. For starters, we enjoyed pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts, pumpkin tortelli with butter and sage, and for the main course, grilled lamb. For dessert, we had berries with orange ice cream and coffee tiramisu. Everything was truly high-quality and a taste of times gone by. The staff was courteous and helpful. They gave us a table near the fireplace, a lovely location that made the evening even more welcoming and with a magical atmosphere. Highly recommended, we'll be back!!! P.S. The prices are a bit high.

Historic place with discreet and professional staff, quick service even in case of overcrowding which denotes an excellent organization, but the price is not always adequate for what is offered, in the sense that some excellent dishes make others that are sufficient clash.

I simply lived this restaurant. The decor and attention to detail. From the fresh flowers, the porcini mushroom, harvest table , linens and my favorite plates,it was simply a beautiful Roman restaurant. Our host knew what to order for us fettuccine with porcini then the most tender guancile ( pork cheek) we had ever eaten. I had a ravioli with a very light and tasty sauce. The red wine from the Aldobrandi estate paired perfectly with our meal. The desert was tiramisu and it was good. The cantucci with fennel liquor was a delicious finish. Highly recommend!!!

We came from Milan and chose Taverna dello Spuntino in Grottaferrata to celebrate my birthday. It's certainly a traditional and very distinctive place, with its underground cellars and rustic atmosphere reminiscent of a medieval round table, amid stone tunnels and hanging hams. Truly unique!
The menu focuses on Roman cuisine, although to our surprise, there was no carbonara, a classic we'd expected. The appetizers were good, while the cacio e pepe, while rich, was a bit too heavy on cheese. Overall, however, we couldn't say we had a bad meal.
One unfortunate detail: we'd also ordered a cheese platter, which, amidst the confusion of the service and the dishes, was never brought to us. Only later, at home, did we realize we'd been charged for it anyway. A small mistake, but one that leaves the impression of a lack of attention or fairness, especially given the rather modest price.
Overall, a charming place for the atmosphere, good for a typical experience, but with room for improvement in service and customer care.

Locale accogliente (anche se ti mangi all’esterno), cibo buono e porzioni abbondanti. Una nota speciale va allo staff, il proprietario molto simpatico e gentile . Il nostro tavolo è stato seguito da un cameriere che è stato super attento e anche molto simpatico. Sicuramente consigliato

Premetto che non lo conoscevo e non mi viene proprio comodissimo da casa mia, però ero curioso. Beh, debbo dire che è stata una serata perfetta, non ho nulla da criticare in nessun ambito. Camerieri che ci sanno fare, ambiente rustico ma elegante, nulla di finto, il cibo è stato fantastico, mi sono fatto servire una fettuccina al sugo di coda alla vaccinara, per secondo il cameriere mi consiglia una guancia di vitello allo stracotto. Ho avuto una emozione. Fantastica. Poi con i dolci apoteosi, tiramisù all’arancia. Provatelo, ratafià in accompagno. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci. Conto in linea con la qualità.
