We were for the first time in this beautiful restaurant invited for a communion. Excellent service, the food is spectacular, both for the quality and for the care of the dishes. Everyone is very kind. We will definitely return very soon.

A timeless jewel: Taverna dello Spuntino What can I say... the Taverna dello Spuntino is not just the most famous restaurant in the country - it is a place that welcomes you like home, with an authentic atmosphere and a warmth rare to find elsewhere. The service is impeccable: the waiters are incredibly kind and friendly, always smiling and attentive, capable of making you feel pampered from start to finish. It's not just about professionalism, but about true, genuine hospitality that makes the difference. And then the food... a Roman poem! We tasted some exceptional first courses, prepared with skill and passion: every bite was a dive into tradition, with rich and authentic flavours. Homemade pasta, fresh ingredients, generous portions — everything perfect. It is often said that it is the best restaurant in the country, but for us it is much more: it is an experience, an embrace, a piece of history. Highly recommended, with all my heart. We are waiting for you in Monopoli

Beautiful restaurant with visitable cellar. Fast and friendly service, despite the restaurant being very full we didn't wait long and they were attentive to the customer. We tasted both a mix of excellent first courses and a second course of meat that melted in the mouth. Prices slightly higher than average but worth it, excellent quality/price ratio.

We spent Easter as a family at this restaurant. Even though it was full and on a particular day they left the menu open to the customer's outburst. no fixed menus. The food was delicious and served with care, same with the service. Very careful. The environment is very beautiful and full of details. I recommend 100%

I would like to start by saying that it is a place that we have known for several years and that has always been a guarantee, but today unfortunately I have to reluctantly make some criticisms. One of the strong dishes is the bucatino alla amatriciana which 2 of us had and the pasta was overcooked; the pork chops cooked with fingers were dry as if they had been cooked first and then reheated and not hot enough; the strawberry tiramisu didn't taste like strawberries. I must also say that the tortelli with thyme and pecorino and the tagliolini with pioppini were exceptional. Lastly, the service, let me explain better: a place where you pay an average of 50 euros per person must also allow you to be comfortable at the table, but the trend lately is to organize the tables too close to each other, in fact, to get out of my seat I myself had to ask a lady from another table to get up properly twice. I can't say that the food is bad but it no longer lives up to its name and the many years of business it has behind it, considering the average price per person you pay.

Typical restaurant with Roman cuisine, tortellini in broth made by them, wonderful oxtail, and wonderful Roman tripe, all that extra taken home with a take-away tray.

Locale molto molto bello, curato, ben arredato e con arredo ricercato. Servizio estremamente gentile, cosa notata per le botteghe della zona, cibo ottimo: tris di primi, coda alla vaccinara e tacchinella ripiena con patate e cicoria. Prezzo giusto e mangiata davvero di gusto

locale molto bello, stile rustico, arredamento caratteristico, mattoni a vista. caminetto. tutto molto caldo. cibo romano Genuino e veramente molto buono. porzioni generose. tempi di attesa nella norma, camerieri molto simpatici e nel contempo preparati. conto direi giusto. unica cosa un pò inferiore alle attese è stato il vino della casa.

06/05/2025: The place is very nice and well-kept but I think the cuisine needs to be improved a little, especially considering that it is not a cheap place at all. For what we tried: good starters, less so first courses, average desserts. And a piece of advice: the pasta with sauce for the children arrived full of sauce and herbs (I don't know if parsley or basil): too rich and seasoned, it should be simpler otherwise the children won't eat anything.
31/03/2025: A beautiful place where you can organize events, with a beautiful garden and large rooms. But also a nice restaurant to spend a nice day and eat well. I went for a birthday. The staff was kind and welcoming. They served us a welcome aperitif with the possibility of choosing drinks such as Spumante Brut - Aperol Spritz - Fruit juices. And three types of canapé were placed on the buffet table: Savory cream puff, mortadella and toasted pistachio mousse, Rocher of buffalo ricotta, toasted hazelnuts and saffron cream, Barchetta of brisee pasta, tomato mousse and scapece courgettes (all in the photo) We sat at the table and the menu included: Roasted aubergine meatballs, burrata and rocket (photo), Gragnano half paccheri with white meat ragout and finally veal saltimbocca with a thousand potato leaves (very good!!!)
