We ate yesterday at this truly special place. As soon as you walk in, you immediately sense its authenticity. It's like stepping back in time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food is superb (the portions are equally superb), and the staff are friendly! It took us 40 minutes to get there, but it was worth it.

I visited this restaurant with my wife, and what can I say? The good food and generous portions put it above average for castles. The restaurant has a very charming country-chic feel, although in my opinion, there are too many seats and it's quite cramped. The service is also quite attentive and friendly. From what I've written, some might wonder why it's given 3 stars. The reason is simple: I found the prices quite high for the quality of the food, but let's take things in order: The €4 cover charge per person, which includes table settings and service, would suggest something high-end, but the glasses and cutlery were dull. For that price, cutlery and glasses should shine. The food here is also quite high-priced. I have no complaints about the quality of the ingredients, but if you're charging €18 for a plate of tortelli, I expect them to be the right shape and not fall apart during cooking. We paid €91 for two appetizers, two first courses, and a dessert with a bottle of water. I think the bill is a bit overpriced. In my humble opinion, the correct bill would have been between 75 and 80 euros.

Remarkable. Beautiful setting and high-quality food. Zucchini parmigiana, tortelli, pumpkin or chestnut gnocchi, pappardelle, roast beef, shank, and grilled meat—all very good. Book in advance because it's crowded, especially on weekends, from Rome. A wonderful experience and excellent Roman cuisine.

I love this restaurant. The last time I was there, I had a mixed antipasto, which alone is worth a whole meal...meatballs, scamorza cheese, mixed cold cuts, buffalo mozzarella, artichoke salad, bacon, etc. Then there's the pappardella with wild boar ragù, which evokes the flavors of times past, when wild boar was used, and just enough chili pepper to take the edge off the gamey aftertaste. Medium-rare steak with potatoes. Attentive and courteous service. Good wine list.

Spectacular location; extremely elegant and distinctive, it offers an excellent and evocative dining experience. The dining room is superbly comfortable. A wide selection of original dishes, expertly prepared and carefully presented; very generous portions. The house red wine is excellent. The mineral water, both still and sparkling, served in empty wine bottles is perplexing (we're not exactly right here). The staff and service are impeccable. Prices are significantly above average, but overall, they're fair. Be warned: expensive, not expensive. Parking is difficult. Rating: 9-.

After a long time, I returned to this restaurant in Grottaferrata. The atmosphere is still lovely. For appetizers, we had eggplant parmigiana rolls and zucchini tart, both delicious. For the first course, tortarelle with water and flour, black cabbage, sausage, and crusco peppers were very good, and pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnuts, which honestly disappointed me a bit. The second course, osso buco with onions, was good. To finish, wild strawberries. Let's just say that overall, the food was good and of high quality. The staff was friendly. The prices weren't cheap. One small flaw: I had to ask for a receipt because we paid in cash and didn't receive one.

Gorgeous location. Well-maintained and tastefully decorated. Excellent food.

Everything was delicious, and the place was fantastic. Prices were a bit high, but in line with the quantity and quality of the products.
