Excellent, absolutely worth a visit

Nice restaurant just outside the caves. Average-high prices, excellent homemade pasta; good wild boar ragù; delicious pinciarelle with mixed ragù (duck, beef, and pork).

25 years later... same quality and goodness!

We arrived just before closing time, but they still welcomed us and served us with exquisite kindness and courtesy. Everything was delicious and the prices were super reasonable.

We frequent this restaurant often for work, always stopping in for lunch. We usually order the same items and pay for the workers' menu (15-17 euros), without ever being asked to specify this in advance. Last Thursday, however, at the cashier's desk we were charged 90 euros for three people, well above the usual price. When we asked for an explanation, the cashier replied that we couldn't order the workers' menu because "we hadn't specified it," despite never having been asked for anything of the sort before. Once we'd scanned the receipt, she stated there was nothing she could do to correct the error. Even the waitress who usually serves us seemed visibly surprised by the situation, even though she couldn't intervene because she wasn't the owner. It was an experience that left a bitter taste in our mouths, especially considering we're regulars. We expected at least a request for clarification before charging such a different bill than usual. So rejected and therefore not recommended for that person who made the calculation.

Excellent food. Professional and friendly staff.

We had dinner with crescia, grilled meat and tiramisu, everything excellent!

This is not a review of the Taverna, but of the village with the castle on the mountain!

Fabulous Tavern, the food is excellent...I've known it for 50 years

Excellent historic trattoria. Grilled meats and homemade pasta dishes. The duck sauce is excellent. Crescia is not to be missed!
