Being in an ancient village you have to get there on foot. Remarkable location and courteous staff. Excellent dishes and excellent wines. I had already been there in the past and I went back on purpose this time and it did not disappoint my expectations. Highly recommended.

An excellent dinner at the entrance to the beautiful historic center of San Gemini.
Local products are highlighted from the appetizer, a platter of cured meats and cheeses, to the dessert.
The Sangemini Picchiarelli with white meat ragout and parmesan with the addition of black truffle are unforgettable.
The service is quick and courteous.
The bill is adequate.

Abbiamo pranzato all'esterno di questo locale in uno degli scorci del paese.
Inizio dicendo che non abbiamo mangiato male, i piatti erano ben presentati ma come sapore nulla di eccezionale.
Il cameriere che ci ha serviti, un ragazzo giovane e solare molto disponibile ed educato. La nota dolente è stato il conto non tanto per il prezzo delle portate ( anche se far pagare un piatto di pennette al sugo per una bimba 9€ è un furto) ma per aver fatto pagare il coperto 3€ a testa anche a una bimba di 1 anno.
In 3 (2 adulti e un neonato) 9€ di coperto è vergognoso.
We had lunch today at Taverna Del Torchio and we were thrilled! The food was really excellent, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, and you could feel the care in every dish. The service was impeccable: friendly, attentive and professional staff. A truly pleasant experience, we will definitely be back!

Nice and quiet place. Nice atmosphere and very good food. For a non Italian person was a nice and tasty experience . The menu is in Italian only but with a translate app is ok and clear. Recommended this place

My husband and I stopped at this place in San Geminiano La Taverna del Torchio on our way to Rome and it was a truly wonderful experience, local dishes revisited, delicious, very kind waiters, I recommend it

Passeggiando per San Gemini abbiamo trovato questo locale tipico del posto che ci è piaciuto subito a primo impatto e confermiamo la scelta.
Entrando abbiamo trovato un locale accogliente ed un profumo meraviglioso che proveniva dalla cucina.
Abbiamo scelto un antipasto misto per due, un raviolo, una polenta, una tagliata divisa in due, due dolci e una bottiglia di rosato.
Bella esperienza, consigliamo di provare.
