Taverna del Pittore In Arona

Tonight I visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience did not live up to my expectations. The food was okay, but the flavors were mixed and confused, which made it difficult to fully appreciate them. Although the price was acceptable, it cannot be said that the quality justified the cost. The place, on the other hand, is nice and elegant, but what really ruined the evening was the attitude of the staff. At the end of the dinner, while we were having a pleasant chat, the waiter intervened unexpectedly by presenting the bill and asking for immediate payment even though there were still people at the tables in the place. This was definitely inappropriate and broke the atmosphere of the evening. In conclusion, although the restaurant has potential, there are fundamental aspects that need improvement, especially the education and respect of customers.

The restaurant impresses with its stylish ambience, fine cuisine, and stunning views of Lake Maggiore. Unfortunately, the experience is significantly marred by poor service. A rude, bossy server (presumably the head waitress) is out of place in an upscale dining concept. The requirement to order at least two courses per person is communicated in an unfriendly tone. The service is also inattentive: water is neither refilled nor asked for, salt and pepper have to be requested several times, and the espresso is served lukewarm. Despite the excellent cuisine, the poor service leaves a negative overall impression.

Very pleasant restaurant with surprising Mediterranean cuisine. The dishes are very tasty, colorful and well served. A treat for the taste buds.

We had lunch on the veranda overlooking the lake: fascinating. The staff was professional, kind and prompt. The dishes were excellent even if they needed some adjustments. Good wine list. Price in line with the quality of the food and wine, as well as the service and location.

Excellent food, attentive service and excellent view of the lake from the veranda. In particular, I was positively impressed by the professionalism and kindness of the waitress.

Carefully furnished, with exceptional views, directly on the lake, the Pittore tavern is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Arona, exceptional food and services, attention to detail in everything and an incredible wine and champagne list!! Highly recommended

Ho avuto il piacere di mangiare in questo ristorante. Sono stata accolta con grande squisitezza. Ho mangiato amabilmente. Ho avuto la possibilità di avere un tavolo vista lago anzi, sul lago. Mi è piaciuto davvero tanto. Il servizio è stato ineccepibile. Gli abbinamenti dei vini azzeccati, la carta è da perdercisi e mi sono affidata al sommelier. Le materie prime di alta qualità (forse non avrei messo il pan brioche sotto il filetto, ma dipende dai gusti. Della carne così eccellente non l’avrei coperta con atri sapori ma ho apprezzato anche la sua salsa. Il proprietario è stato così gentile da illustrarmi anche gli appartamenti di loro proprietà che si trovano sopra il locale. Affacciano direttamente sul lago Maggiore. Vanno prenotati con largo anticipo e non sono in overbooking di rado (ho controllato anche su Booking.com e niente). Poi che dire… per quanto riguarda la posizione le foto parlano da sole. Tornerò

Cena regalo del mio compleanno, abbiamo preso menù degustazione pesce. La qualità è sopraffina, sono rimasto stupito dalla quantità che era calibrata perfettamente. Servizio super. Forse solo dalla cheesecake mi aspettavo qualcosa in più ma era comunque buona.
