Taverna del Marinaio In Portofino

My wife and I had lunch here a few days ago and ordered one grilled sole, one sole meunière, and one salad. The sole portions consisted of four small pieces of lukewarm fish and half a potato. Even though we only drank water, the "pleasure" cost us €100. It wasn't worth it.

Beautiful place and beautiful view. Food was ok. Price higher.

A genuine Italian experience in the middle of Portofino - wam welcome from the owner, especially professional and friendly staff- beautiful location and food that was beautifully presented from a kitchen that cares, ingredients sourced to be the freshest they can be. The mussels + prawns with tomato were a beautiful example of bold confident flavour … you will need the excellent bread so you can mop up all the flavours. Fritto misti was an exercise in simplicity done right - all the seafood was so fresh! A bottle of Pinot Grigio was the perfect accompaniment to the meal, watching the hustle and bustle of Portofino pass by, Quality cutlery and glassware - this restaurant shows its pride and history in the best way. TUTTO BENE indeed! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

The food was extremely good, and in February we were outside in the sun wearing a t-shirt. Simply wonderful.

It was lovely to have lunch in the sunshine in February. Both pasta dishes we chose were good. A nice touch was the waiter who spoke French. The price is a bit high, but it's very touristy.

The food and service were amazing. The fish with Green sauce is the best. The Sole, Veal and Fried seafood were all delicious.

Today we had lunch at this restaurant and I'd say it was an unexpected surprise... all the dishes were fantastic. The risotto with Santa's red prawns was super.

The Taverna del Marinaio restaurant is simply fantastic! The food is delicious, everything is fresh and prepared with love. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, perfect for a pleasant evening. The owner is truly kind and friendly—she made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. There is Mr. Mohammed who speaks Arabic and is very nice and will help you.
