Taverna del Gentilorco In Pavia

I'm very pleased to leave this review, not only for my excellent first experience at the tavern—with its attentive and friendly service, excellent menu, and noteworthy beers—but especially for the ossobuco. I think it's one of the best I've ever tried, hands down. Compliments to the chef's recipe. Overall, I highly recommend the place.

For those who love medieval fantasy style or settings, this is the place to be. The food is excellent, and the quality is evident. It's a perfect place to spend a lovely evening and enjoy the fantasy world. Very satisfied!

Great experience! Good food and a really welcoming atmosphere. After dinner, you can ask to play the board games available. We had a blast! It's my new favorite place!

A wonderful place with a medieval and fantasy theme. It's not very big, so reservations are recommended. Seating is only inside. The burgers, pasta dishes, and meat dishes are delicious. Average price for each course: €15. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have board games you can play after dinner, perfect for winter or rainy days.

The staff are welcoming and extremely friendly, the location is in keeping with the style, and the dishes are carefully prepared and flavorful. The desserts are also excellent.

Incredible place, with the atmosphere of a true fantasy tavern, perfectly decorated. Excellent food; in addition to burgers and delicious appetizers, they have several very interesting and delicious medieval recipes (I had the soup). Nice selection of beers and very good mead! Friendly staff. Finally, you can use the board games available, which are very varied and have some great features. It's best to book to be safe. Highly recommended!

Browsing through the reviews, I was initially surprised by the enthusiasm and incredible compliments this place was receiving. Then I came across some less euphoric reviews, and I became curious. After finally being there, despite it being a bit out of the way for me, I decided to be among the first. An incredible and unique place in the area (or that I've ever been to), original cuisine, and you can tell it's all homemade. I'm completely satisfied with the 30km drive to get there, and I'll be back as soon as possible. I suppose those who leave bad reviews are simply unlucky, but since I hate for them to tarnish my opinion, I decided to write one myself.
