Dinner for 6 people The location is truly wonderful, it deserves 5 stars. However, culinary expectations were not fully met. The quality-price ratio seems a little above average to me, which made the experience less satisfying than hoped.

A unique leap into the Middle Ages…

Very characteristic medieval-style tavern, friendly staff and themed dress. Prices too high for the quality and quantity of the food, a little scarce... especially the €12 starter

Location davvero in stile medievale e molto piacevole, piatti semplici ma buoni io e la mia famiglia abbiamo apprezzato molto... Alla prossima....

Il locale è molto carino e tipico, la location è spettacolare e l’idea di un menu con piatti medievali la trovo stupenda, un salto nel passato. C’è da dire però che se il personale in cucina scarseggia bisognerebbe togliere coperti, che si estendono tutto intorno all’ edificio. Abbiamo prenotato, ci siamo seduti alle 12:40, un’oretta dopo abbiamo ricevuto il tagliere d’aperitivo a seguito delle prime 2-3 richieste d’attenzione, poi calma piatta. Fino alle 14:30 dove dopo l’ennesima richiesta d’aiuto abbiamo ricevuto il primo, alle 15 esasperati, stanchi e ormai in digestione avviata abbiamo rinunciato al secondo chiedendo di portarci direttamente il caffè’. Il servizio è stato pessimo, e non è certo colpa dei camerieri che poverini si guardavano intorno dispiaciuti, piuttosto della cucina che non sfornava più’ niente da ore. Lato positivo? Se volete ubriacarvi è il posto giusto! Il vino arriva immediatamente, i pasti con calma..con lo stomaco vuoto, ubriacatura assicurata!

First time we came to this place, the place offers 2 types of menus: a modern one, and a medieval themed one, we ordered all 3 different types of platters and not even 1 left us disappointed, really delicious food, quality ratio -price may initially seem excessive, but given the out of the way place it's quite good, the setting is very reminiscent of the Middle Ages with themed tables and structures, the graphics of the price lists and the drawings were perfectly designed like the real ones, and I will never stop saying that I really felt like I was in the Middle Ages. A criticism that could be both negative and positive is that for disabled people, unless they have a wheelchair, but still have leg problems, it is difficult to reach, since the distance from the restaurant to the car park is about 100m with a climb, and the negative part is precisely this, while the a positive thing could be that the place is very quiet and therefore you would absolutely not hear any noise from cars, thus allowing you to immerse yourself even more in history and the medieval past.

Excellent food, really good, the location is nice, unfortunately there were flies which were a huge nuisance and when the restaurant filled up the orders slowed down enormously and the time for the second course was extended enormously, a shame because otherwise it would have been a sublime experience, without prejudice to the fact that I still recommend eating and trying the medieval menu, obviously visit the castle especially during events.
