Excellent prime rib! Nice and informal environment. The owner, as well as chef - or rather, "host", is an unmissable character, available to chat if the opportunity offers him, with beautiful anecdotes about Jannacci and Gaber. If you like the genre, try the absinthe, mint and sage bitters, with ice. The weekend is very busy, book in advance, I went during the week.

Very friendly and welcoming owner makes you feel at home, particular environment full of vintage objects and old Milan style references Jannacci and Gaber... fantastic
Menu rich (a little too much) with Lombard recipes.
On the negative side, unfortunately the result of the dishes was very disappointing at our table, we only enjoyed a couple of dishes which were otherwise bad, especially the risottos.
With a change to the kitchen they can create a nice place...come on, you're on the right track, take this review as a starting point for growth.
Fewer dishes on the menu but better prepared ❤️

Ci siamo arrivati guidati dalle recensioni su Tripadvisor. Cercavamo un posto dove poter mangiare qualcosa di tipico e autentico nel pranzo pre-gara.
Il locale è una carina trattoria, tranquilla e tradizionale gestita dal proprietario, persona troppo simpatica e disponibile.
Il menu è basato sulla tradizione lombarda. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di polenta con la bresaola e due primi con il ragù.
Porzioni abbondanti e prezzo giusto.
Se siete in zona non potete non fermarvi per una pausa in questa carina trattoria.

Today's dinner was not just a dinner but an experience, Riccardo is the host par excellence. I think everyone should try a similar experience, it feels like going to visit the nice uncle you haven't seen for a long time, he knows how to make you feel at home. Without neglecting professionalism and traditional dishes of the past, without frills but of absolute quality. I was his guest for a business dinner and I will certainly come back to visit him every time I'm in the area
