I'd say impeccable! Top-notch food. Elegance, extreme kindness and helpfulness. Wonderful location.

Perhaps the most beautiful restaurant in this medieval village: well-kept, clean, and with a relaxing atmosphere. Prices are almost Michelin-starred, the owner is very kind, but the portions are incredibly small... you'll leave feeling almost hungry. Unfortunately, the wait staff seems rather inexperienced, probably fresh out of hotel school: they make gross errors and don't seem to be supervised by anyone. The bottle is opened but the cork isn't put to the nose, while a waitress doesn't know the dish she's serving and sends it back (an incident we witnessed at the table next to ours). When you spend €20 for a first course with such small portions, certain details shouldn't be overlooked. Reservations are absolutely essential on weekends, otherwise it's difficult to find a table.

In the charming Candelo, a medieval-style tavern that fits perfectly with its setting. We had the pleasure of choosing from the menu displayed outside the magnificent entrance, which was undoubtedly inviting. Even though we were accompanied by our parrot on this out-of-town trip, they kindly welcomed us and seated us in a magnificent, softly lit room with wooden tables, fresh roses on each, and pewter plates. The appetizer was delicious: the stuffed eggplant was expertly executed, the beef tartare with onions was delicious, and not to mention the porcini mushroom dish. We chose to enjoy them fried and accompanied by veal fillet. To finish it all, a berry sorbet and an excellent mint panna cotta. Dinner was accompanied by breadsticks and fresh bread. Along with our coffee, we were served some delicious sweets. The service was impeccable and truly kind. At the end of this pleasant experience, we also had the pleasure of seeing the entire venue, meticulously designed down to the last detail: lighting, spaces, colors, materials... Candelo's style is evident throughout the tavern, which also offers ample space for hosting conferences in a dedicated room. The upstairs offers a delightful view, with meticulously designed furnishings. We'll definitely be back, and congratulations to all the staff!
