Dining at the Contrario restaurant is always a guarantee. For years now, for any event or even just for an evening we have always and only been here. The food is truly excellent, with attention to every detail. Not to mention the wide choice of wines, truly vast. The environment is magical and elegant, the atmosphere perfect and all the staff always attentive to giving the right advice with great competence, honesty and professionalism but above all great taste. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

Spectacular restaurant, where I always gladly return! Friendly and super helpful staff, the owners Alex and Anda exceptional and always very attentive as their truly remarkable cuisine full of incredible flavors and combinations. Must try at least once in your life.

Wonderful place, located in the heart of Rome (Colosseum), high quality food, wonderful place, attention to detail, clean and welcoming... I was here with my family and we ate very well, it's exceptional! The restaurant manager is as wonderful as on the other hand, all the staff ♥️ excellent dishes and above all not obvious! Pleasant discovery! I recommend trying it because it's impossible not to want to come back!!!!!!

We were disappointed, because we had asked for a small charcuterie board intended for 2 people to share to start, before choosing the dishes. Our order was doubled, because there were 4 of us, so we were no longer hungry, and only ate cold meats, all for an exorbitant price. Damage.

To the manager - to be looking for the FB profiles of your beautiful clients by searching their names taken out of the reviews for the restaurant - not professional at all. We are not your classmates and you should only know our taste for wine, especially when we like particularly the fav wine of your wife.

Ristorante-Pizzeria Il Girasole

14/02/2025: Tavern-style neighborhood restaurant. Few dishes but tasty. I often go there during my lunch break and for €12 you can eat a first or second course and a side dish. If you're in the area, drop by.
