Siamo venuti per la prima volta in questo bel ristorante (non molto grande, prenotate in anticipo!) posizionato proprio al centro di Assisi. C'è anche la possibilità di pranzare su una bella terrazza che affaccia sulla splendida piazza. Servizio rapido e cortese. Menù che a mio parere andrebbe un po' "arricchito" per offrire maggiore scelta, ma che comunque offre piatti gustosi, in linea con la tradizione del territorio. Carta dei vini abbastanza ricca (forse sarebbe opportuno proporre un maggiore numero di bottiglie di fascia economica...). Rapporto qualità/prezzo buono.

Locale curato e personale attento, atmosfera molto cordiale. Abbiamo preso ottimi primi: Pappardelle al cinghiale saporite, tagliatelle al tartufo di Norcia strepitose, non ne mangiavo di così profumate e gustose da tempo! Anche i secondi hanno lasciato il segno: il brasato si scioglieva in bocca. Abbiamo concluso con la pera cotta nel vino rosso ed il tortino al cioccolato con gelato alla crema…accompagnati dal passito umbro! Non perdetevelo questo posto, perché si respira ancora l’attenzione per le materie prime e l’amore per la cucina, qualità rarissime di questi tempi!

The truffle steak was so delicious. All other menu items were also delicious. It was a cozy dinner on the outdoor terrace.

We expected better quality cuisine given the standard. Disappointed, we had never eaten truffles that had so little taste. The wine was excellent!

Excellent food, prepared in the best way with excellent value for money. Selected products, preparation and courtesy of the staff in a historic location linked to the territory. Delighted by an excellent pecorino at the end of dinner with honey and walnuts accompanied by a top local passito wine. Not to be missed in Assisi

CRAZY LOCATION IN THE CENTER WITH TERRACE. VERY PREPARED OWNER WHO WITH HIS EXPERIENCE ADVICE YOU AND MAKES YOU TASTE THE EXCELLENT TYPICAL UMBRIAN PRODUCTS. THE CBT EGG WITH TRUFFLE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Excellent food, splendid location (especially the terrace overlooking the square) and impeccable service. Special mention goes to the pork butcher pasta, the truffle tagliatelle and the beef tartare (the best I've ever eaten and which they kindly prepared for us even though it wasn't on the menu). We will definitely be back!

02/01/2025: Nuestro hotel recomendó este restaurante y nos quedamos encantados de que lo hicieran. El lugar es un poco peculiar, pero la comida es excelente. Comida local bien cocinada y tan sabrosa. Hicimos la tarjeta como dicen y todos los platos y las bebidas eran todos tan buenos. Muy recomendable. ¡Ojalá hubiéramos comido aquí antes que nuestro propio hotel!
23/12/2024: what can I say, food Excellent and PLENTY (which isn't for everyone!) Perfect service and waiters always available and smiling (especially in this period!!!) Super highly recommended.
