A very elegant location with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Piazza del Comune, it offers a highly refined menu. The wine list is excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable (trust the owner...), and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent dishes made with high-quality ingredients, friendly and helpful staff, located in the center of Assisi. You can dine on the terrace overlooking the little square in a charming and romantic atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable!!! Definitely a place worth visiting if you're in the area. For our only dinner in Assisi, we chose the Taverna dei Consoli restaurant, impressed by the positive reviews and photos of the dishes. As soon as we arrived, with reservations, we were asked whether we preferred to sit in one of the indoor rooms or on the terrace overlooking the Piazza Municipio. We chose the terrace, where we began with an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, torta al testo, and bruschetta with chicken livers and truffles; everything was delicious, but we expected at least two cheeses, not just one. Next, we chose tagliatelle with truffle and pappardelle with red wild boar ragù. The fresh pasta was excellent with its sauces, and the wild boar was beautifully marinated, with a delicate, light flavor. Next, we chose the veal fillet with a Sagrantino reduction and truffle, pairing it with an excellent red wine from Cantina Antonelli. The restaurant is highly recommended for its good food, helpfulness and attentiveness of the owners and staff.

A restaurant on the crest of a wave for years, it has consistently maintained high standards of food quality, along with the courtesy and professionalism of its staff. It's difficult to rank the dishes, all excellent, where Chef Moreno's creativity blends harmoniously with culinary tradition, resulting in top-notch results. A prime example is the extraordinary-tasting matriciana.

The food is exquisite, and the location is equally beautiful and welcoming. But what really makes the difference is the kindness and courtesy of the owners and staff. A truly pleasant place to spend an evening, even with three small children. Our compliments, we'll definitely be back for lunch or dinner!

Incredible food. I've been traveling through Italy for 10 days, and I have to say this was the best restaurant of the trip. It was recommended to me, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Assisi—a great choice!

Ottimo pranzo con fiori di zucca fritti, cappellacci ripieni di burrata con crema di carciofi e tortino di cioccolato dal cuore caldo con gelato. Dalla splendida terrazza sulla piazza del Comune nel pomeriggio ci siamo godute lo spettacolo del Calendimaggio!

Il ristorante malgrado sia in pieno centro con una terrazza fantastica che affaccia direttamente sulla Piazza del comune non è per nulla turistico. La location interna è molto bella e curata, personale gentile (soprattutto il proprietario) ottimi piatti. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di crostini ai fegatini e crudo e fiori di zucca. Di primo: tagliatelle al tartufo e mezze maniche alla norcia. Tutto ottimo! Consigliato....
