Taverna dei Capitani In Malcesine

Arrived for a late lunch just before they closed to get ready for the evening, but never felt rushed, service was wonderfully polite and food arrived beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Watched as they cleared tables and prepared the room so know how immaculately the staff worked on keeping everywhere clean. Sat in the courtyard where it felt really peaceful, as Malcesine as lovely as it is tends to be a little crowded, but the inside looked pleasant too. Lovely.

Very courteous service. Excellent food. There is hardly anything better in Malcesine, especially for fish.

From the outside you can hardly notice it, we found it by looking for restaurants that served LAKE fish! We arrived without booking and with unexpected speed (they were fully booked and even though it was Wednesday the town was full of tourists), they immediately found us a table and served us in a short time! Friendly, professional and friendly staff, simple but excellent lake dishes, the internal garden where the summer tables are located is truly lovely! I recommend it!
