Taverna dei Capitani In Malcesine

This wonderful tavern was our regular restaurant for many years, and we always felt very comfortable there. A lot has changed under the new owner. The service is still extremely friendly and attentive, for which we would like to express our gratitude. However, the food could have been better – the grilled fish on the daily special was unfortunately too dry. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio, especially considering the quantity, is not balanced. Although we are happy to pay a fair price for good food. Since this restaurant is dear to us, we hope that the team will settle in well and that the kitchen will soon return to its former glory. We wish you continued success!

Beautiful garden with excellent food and good service.

We spent our last evening of our vacation on Lake Garda at the Taverna Dei Capitani restaurant. It turned out to be a real hit. We were seated at an attractively set table in the very cozy, beautifully lit, and traditional-looking courtyard and immediately noticed that the concept of this restaurant, which we have been visiting repeatedly on vacation for the past four years, is new and somewhat modern. The team is young, highly motivated, friendly, and attentive. My husband had a fish dish with grilled vegetables, and I had the homemade gnocchi with truffles. The kitchen team is excellent. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely return.

This was the best restaurant in Malcesine that we visited in one week. The young people are absolutely excellent at what they do. That's what I call hospitality. The ambiance is truly lovely in the courtyard. The kitchen does a fantastic job. Everything is handmade and freshly prepared. Truly an insider tip, just for us. Keep it up...

Great atmosphere, delicious food!! The gnocchi tartuffo were amazing!!

Looking for something other than a typical pizzeria, we stumbled upon this place. The ambiance, with its courtyard garden, absolutely captivated us. The menu offers everything, especially many fish dishes. The staff is very friendly, and our selection was absolutely delicious.

Carinissimo posto consigliatoci da un cameriere di un bar sul porto, ampia sala interna ma molto bello in posto in giardino. Ottima la carne salada ed anche la trota, la griglia era un pò bruciacchiata. Ottimo il dessert con un limone riempito di budino al limone. Buon servzio

Siamo arrivati per caso in questa tavernetta , ottima accoglienza da parte dei ragazzi. Menù vario per tutti i gusti, noi abbiamo mangiato la tagliata di manzo che era buonissima, prezzi sulla norma. Locale sicuramente da consigliare.
