A great surprise at San Lorenzo, an iconic place I frequented way back in my university days. Simplicity and good taste. The staff were excellent, attentive and meticulous, while the kitchen.... very fresh, delicious flavors. I absolutely recommend it. Truly excellent.

The place is aesthetically beautiful, well-kept, and very clean. The dishes are beautifully presented. The food is very good and really gives the impression of quality, of something a little bit more than average. You pay a little more than average, but compared to the same prices, you're definitely getting something extra. Specifically, the portions were generous, and the crema in my carbonara was really thick and creamy. A truly well-made carbonara.
I recommend everything I ordered: the carbonara, the zucchini flowers, their bread, and the tartare with burrata.
The staff was very kind and classy. It was raining heavily that day: they let us put our coats to dry in another room, and at the end of lunch, the restaurant manager drove us to the station to avoid the rain, even though he'd only just met us.
Easily reachable on foot from Rome Termini station.

Pietro was the most welcoming and lovely host we could've had. Despite our Italian being bad his enthusiasm and charisma shone through. He was very attentive and helpful throughout our whole evening and made us feel very welcome. The mezze mainche alla amtriciana is the best pasta I've ever had.

A truly unique lunch! The fish was incredibly fresh, carefully cooked, and impeccably presented. Every dish was a surprise, from the appetizers to the main courses, not to mention the desserts. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable in recommending both the dishes and the excellent wine list. The atmosphere was welcoming and refined, and it felt like home. I'll definitely be back!

A truly beautiful place in the heart of San Lorenzo. A welcoming atmosphere, with a high-quality wine cellar that makes you feel right at home. The service was impeccable, attentive, and friendly.
The appetizers are superb: the courgette flower stuffed with fish was exceptional, as were the ravioli and puntarelle, all carefully prepared and rich in flavor. To finish, the pandoro with zabaglione was simply delicious. A truly memorable lunch, highly recommended!

I love discovering new trattorias and always order one of the classics of Roman cuisine. I can honestly say I've tasted the best carbonara, the best amatriciana, and the best puntarelle ever! Plus, the service is welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend it :)

An exceptional experience at this restaurant in San Lorenzo! The zucchini blossom with red shrimp is simply fantastic, delicate yet rich in flavor. The spaghetti with clams and bottarga is impeccable, balanced, and made with the highest-quality ingredients.
The real highlight was the freshly made pistachio tiramisu: creamy, fresh, and irresistible, one of the best I've ever tasted.
The atmosphere is elegant, clean, and refined, and the extremely kind and professional staff makes you feel immediately at ease. Refined cuisine, attention to detail, and great passion go into every dish.
An absolute must-try in San Lorenzo. I'll definitely be back! Antonella!
