A delightful restaurant in the center of Assisi.
The dishes are typical, local, with cured meats, pastas, truffles, legumes, meats, and excellent desserts.
The selection isn't overwhelming, which makes it excellent and perfectly in keeping with the atmosphere.
It offers a very pleasant atmosphere, just the right distance from the main road for a bit of peace and quiet. There's no intrusive background music, and conversations between diners flow peacefully.
I highly recommend it for rediscovering the joy of a meal and sharing an audible conversation with those sitting at the same table.
The service is excellent.

We didn’t actually eat here because Assisi was hit by a giant Storm that caused a blackout but we had a reservation here and the owner met us at the restaurant and walked us to one that was lucky enough to not be in the blackout zone. He walked us all the way and was so kind that we think he deserves a great review. The place he took us to was fabulous and the owner there was also lovely

We had booked to dine here and there was a blackout in town from a storm- the restaurant had no power but closed up for us to take us to another restaurant that still had power to ensure we got a great meal. Thank you so much for your care and attention

At lunch, I really enjoyed the meat: the beef tagliata was juicy, well-cooked, and flavorful—a real highlight. Unfortunately, the pasta was disappointing, with its lackluster sauce.

Excellent place for lunch and dinner full of Umbrian flavors. The staff is very kind and friendly. The dish of umbricelli alla norcina I had was tasty but not heavy.
