We celebrated my friend's wedding anniversary at this hidden gem of a taverna and were truly impressed. Nestled in a peaceful olive grove, the setting is both unique and welcoming, instantly making us feel at home. The food was nothing short of exceptional—fresh, local ingredients prepared with obvious love and incredible skill. The variety of dishes, especially the fish, was outstanding. Each plate reflected a deep respect for tradition and a passion for cooking. What truly made the evening unforgettable, though, was the owner. His warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel like cherished guests. As the night came to a close, he shared stories that added a deeply personal touch to our experience. It's rare to find a place where everything—from the atmosphere to the food to the people—comes together so perfectly. Family-friendly, with plenty of free parking, this taverna is a place we’ll remember with joy and look forward to returning to.

Wir feierten den Hochzeitstag meines Freundes in diesem versteckten Juwel einer Taverne und waren wirklich beeindruckt. Eingebettet in einen friedlichen Olivenhain, ist die Umgebung sowohl einzigartig als auch einladend, so dass wir uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlten. Das Essen war einfach außergewöhnlich - frische, lokale Zutaten, die mit viel Liebe und unglaublichem Können zubereitet wurden. Die Vielfalt der Gerichte, insbesondere der Fisch, war hervorragend. Jeder Teller spiegelte den tiefen Respekt vor der Tradition und die Leidenschaft für das Kochen wider. Was den Abend jedoch wirklich unvergesslich machte, war der Besitzer. Durch seine Wärme, Freundlichkeit und echte Gastfreundschaft fühlten wir uns wie geschätzte Gäste. Als sich der Abend dem Ende zuneigte, erzählte er uns Geschichten, die unserem Erlebnis eine sehr persönliche Note verliehen. Es ist selten, dass man einen Ort findet, an dem alles - von der Atmosphäre über das Essen bis hin zu den Menschen - so perfekt zusammenpasst. Diese familienfreundliche Taverne mit ihren vielen kostenlosen Parkplätzen ist ein Ort, an den wir uns gerne erinnern und an den wir gerne zurückkehren werden.

Great food at Ciguj! Whether you choose fish or meat you will be satisfied. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area, you will not regret it. Nb: courtesy and professionalism of the staff guaranteed!

Abbiamo organizzato un pranzo con famiglia ed amici per festeggiare il nostro 25esimo anniversario di matrimonio. È stata una bellissima giornata,in una location splendida!!! Ottimo il cibo ed ottima la preparazione.Tutto a base di pesce! Un ringraziamento speciale a Paolo per la sua professionalità e gentilezza,e a tutto il suo staff che ci ha accompagnato per tutta la giornata!!! Grazie di cuore!!!!

We spent four wonderful days at the taverna Cigui during our yoga retreat and were truly impressed. The food was exceptional – fresh, local, and prepared with love. The variety, especially the fish dishes, was amazing. The taverna is set in a beautiful olive grove, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. We felt at home and enjoyed every moment. We’ll definitely be back – thank you for everything!

Excellent Easter lunch, fast, attentive and friendly room service. The bill is a little salty, but at Easter it is understandable. Congratulations to the waitresses and the kitchen staff.
