I stumbled upon this little taverna by chance and can highly recommend it! The atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful, and Salvatore is incredibly charming and welcoming! I immediately felt right at home. I also found the fish of the day to be delicious. Definitely try the Lemon Spritz, too.

If you go to Amalfi you just have to stop here for a meal or snack! It’s brilliant: the staff is so friendly and welcoming, the ambiance is perfect, it’s very relaxed compared to the Main Street places, the food is excellent and the dessert with almonds and mascarpone etc is unbelievably delicious 🤤😋 No doubt: just go there😉

Taverna Buonvicino has been our favorite place in Amalfi. The food and service was excellent. The place was inviting and warm. We started with the eggplant parmesan, then had the lemon and anchovy pasta and then had the slow-cook pork. All of these dishes were wonderful. The pasta was probably our favorite, which is a traditional local dish. We also had the lemon sponge cake for dessert. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience, and we would highly recommend it when you’re in Amalfi.

So good we went twice. The anchovies and lemon zest spaghetti was delicious, the service was good and the prices reasonable. Would go back again and again.

Borgo Magno Burger Bistrot

11/02/2026: I've been to this restaurant before, sampling their meats and other specialties. This evening, I was quite surprised when I stumbled upon a special "Mardi Gras di Borgo Magno" event and had the chance to sample their menu. I highly recommend this restaurant for its food, price, and quality ratio.
07/02/2026: I was a little hesitant before coming, given some of the reviews I'd read, but I was completely changed. The dinner was excellent, from appetizer to dessert. I found carefully prepared dishes and fresh ingredients. Maybe they've changed gear or management, but the experience was absolutely top-notch. I'll definitely be back!

L’Officina della Pizza

21/01/2026: I returned to this pizzeria after five years, and it was a delightful rediscovery. Even though I wasn't very hungry, I ordered a Marinara: truly excellent. Finally, a proper "macchiata" pizza, where the sauce takes center stage and not just a dry trace of tomato. My friends' pizzas and frittatas were also excellent, and they got top marks. However, I must point out that the service was decidedly slow, even though the place wasn't crowded when we arrived. Beyond that, there are two small points related to personal taste: I would have preferred to be warned that instead of the Coke I ordered, they would serve a Pepsi, given that the flavors are quite different. I also found the decor a bit chaotic, and the acoustics in the front room could be improved, as the echoing voices are sometimes unpleasant. In any case, the quality of the food prevails: we'll definitely be back; I would have stayed for another!
17/01/2026: The pizza is delicious. We tried their four different ways to cook it, and they were all delicious! High-quality ingredients and excellent combinations. The dining room was very nice, and the service was friendly and fast!
