Last night was a wonderful evening with live music, good food, excellent service... I highly recommend it.

December 26, 2025 - In picturesque Portogruaro, with its canals, mills, and leaning civic tower, we had lunch at Taverna al Boccale. A welcoming place with professional service. I recommend the revisited carbonara with the addition of black truffle, which gives the pasta a pleasant and distinctive flavor.

A pleasant discovery during a live concert offered by the venue. Excellent acoustics and a great atmosphere to enjoy it to the fullest. I'll be back.

I dined a while ago at this quaint restaurant in the heart of Portogruaro. I enjoyed the vegetarian menu, which satisfied my curiosity. The service was attentive and efficient. Recommended

A pleasant place, well-balanced between light and noise, with comfortable corners and areas to meet the needs of various types of customers, whether couples or groups, without disturbing one another. The staff was generally friendly, sufficiently trained, and friendly, with a smile, except for one blonde woman, the oldest member of staff, who didn't even smile if you paid for it, and who was very terse in her communication. We were a couple: Two first courses, one of which, a revisited carbonara with duck speck and truffle, disappointed me because it was served barely warm after being left waiting. Spaghetti stuck to the surface and a runny egg base on a barely adequate portion, as was the other first course of tagliatelle with duck ragù. For €18.50 for a first course, I expect an excellent dish. Two first courses, two glasses of red wine, a dessert, a bottle of water, two coffees, €60, with paper table service and no mention of issuing a receipt unless requested. Excessive price for content and service

I went to this place for dinner for a party, and I had a great meal. The place was beautiful, and the staff were very knowledgeable. I recommend it.
