4 stars because it's the only pizzeria in Bolsena that also offers gluten-free pizzas. Those who don't need gluten-free options can find better pizzas at more affordable prices in Bolsena.

Excellent pizzeria in the historic center of Bolsena under the castle...Excellent pizza and excellent beers, rustic atmosphere with a beautiful outdoor terrace....Very friendly staff...Fair prices...We'll be back.

Three of us came—my father, my sister, and I—without a reservation. A waitress quickly found us a seat, and as soon as we were seated, another waiter asked if we had any allergies and what we wanted to drink. For appetizers, we had a potato croquette with stracciatella, mortadella, and pistachio (delicious), Ascoli olives (I've only found better than these in the Marche region), and cacio e pepe fries (a real hit). As for pizza, I had a Margherita with provola and pepper, with a ricotta-filled crust, which was served about ten minutes after the appetizers. It was truly delicious. The dough is very similar to Neapolitan pizza, so very light and fluffy. I struggled to finish the pizza due to the large amount of ricotta, but by the end of the evening, it wasn't a problem. Again, delicious. We ended up spending around €25 per person, which was more than justified considering the quality of the food and service. If you're in Bolsena and looking for a pizzeria, Tanaquilla is highly recommended.

Really good, fluffy pizza dough, a nice atmosphere, and open very late! Lots of different pizzas with innovative toppings. The espresso was also really good!

Pizzeria in the historic center of Bolsena, a unique atmosphere with outdoor seating. Friendly staff, a bit chaotic, but we went during the Ferragosto holiday week, during the Notte Bianca (White Night), so there was a panic throughout the town. The pizzas are very unique, made with excellent ingredients (you'll notice it after just one night). Recommended.

Best pizza in the area; my partner and I have been coming here for a couple of years now, and we've always had a great time. Good quality ingredients, with interesting and never predictable pairings. Seasonal pizzas are always a favorite, but given the wide selection, there's always something for everyone. Delicious appetizers and fried pizzas rarely found elsewhere enrich the menu. The service is always top-notch; it's definitely best to go when it's not crowded, but you should also understand that if there are a lot of people, service can be a bit slow, but the atmosphere is still pleasant and never feels overwhelming. The staff is incredibly friendly and always available to offer information on the craft beers, which are varied and high-quality, especially if you opt for bottled beers; there's also room for lovers of sours and lambicks. The owners are always kind and helpful, and the older waiter is a plus, as he's incredibly friendly and kind. Sometimes a little out of place, but that's something I personally appreciate. The prices are very fair for the quality and the location. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. :)

Siamo stati una sera a mangiare io e mio marito in questo ristorante. Ho preso un hamburger, non ho fatto foto perché ci siamo divorati tutto nel giro di pochi minuti. mio marito ha preso una pizza altrettanto super buonissima. Locale molto carino e personale gentilissimo…tutto topppp👍👍👍

Ho scoperto questa pizzeria grazie a degli amici e ne sono rimasto contentissimo! La pizza è ottima, offerta in varie altezze e con diverse farine, la carta dei vini è molto interessante così come la lista delle birre, ci tornerò sicuramente!
