The square and restaurant are located on the other side of the river from the actual old town. They're a great alternative to the overcrowded area around the cathedral. There are lots of restaurants and bars here – Tamero is definitely one of the places where you can get authentic, handmade pasta of excellent quality and friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

I can’t even begin to say how good this place is. I have celiac disease and finally found the perfect gluten-free bread. I ordered the bruschetta, which was delicious — fresh tomatoes and excellent seasoning. The house wine was delightful. I had gluten-free penne with ragu, and my husband had tagliatelle with ragu — it was the best fresh pasta we’ve ever had. The staff was super attentive. Excellent lunch, I 100% recommend it, especially for anyone with celiac disease.

Pasta is fresh and very nice but all in all the flavors are muted in every dish. Went with a party of 4 and tried 4 very different dishes, the ravioli was the most flavorful, everything else was nice but bland. Does have a fleamarket (we went on a sunday) right next to it, nice to spend your waiting time because the service is sloooooow.

22/10/2025: Beautiful renovation, fabulous location! Regarding the menu... something new, like the fried shrimp in potato spaghetti, excellent. I was also amazed by the grilled ravioli, which were truly excellent. Not a lot of wines, but they weren't ordinary. In short, we'll be back. Everything was good, perfect service.
19/10/2025: I go there every week. I often order takeout, but when I do eat in, I always have a great time. Excellent food and service. The location is very beautiful and welcoming.

01/05/2025: Nice place, frequented mostly by local regulars. We didn't take anything from the kitchen but the pizza was well made and available with different doughs.
17/04/2025: Superb starter coccoli alla fiorentina (could have a million of these little "cuddles") and the pizza was phenomenal! The dough was so so well sessoned. They were busy for a Wednesday night but food came out promptly and so did the drinks. Family style place. Service was very friendly and happy to communicate in English.
