Taj Mahal In Bergamo

Our first time at this Indian restaurant was a positive experience. The restaurant's location is strategic, right in the city center, on a major road, but with nearby parking. It also offers a few spaces in the reserved parking lot. Upon entering, we were greeted by a kind lady who escorted us to a table on the mezzanine floor. The restaurant has a truly attractive layout, though it's a shame that, despite it being a Friday evening, there were only a few guests and the atmosphere seemed a little dismal. The service was impeccable, and the lady who served us throughout our dinner was kind, making sure to serve the dishes more or less spicy based on our eating habits. Everything arrived promptly, and we enjoyed the dishes; we found the bill to be reasonable. The overall rating is very positive; we will definitely be back.

We had a truly wonderful meal! The place was spacious, welcoming, and clean! The staff were extremely kind and always smiling. For starters, we shared a mixed Pakora and a Sabzi Samosa, both exceptional, with their own yogurt and mint dips and a tamarind chutney. Then for mains, a Chole Paneer with chickpeas and cheese and Daal Makhani with black lentils, accompanied by the typical Afghani naan bread with semolina! Then, to take away, a mix of sweets with almonds, pistachios, and coconut! Highly recommended.

amazing indian restaurant in Bergamo! visited here after a long day out and was very impressed. staff were very friendly and welcoming. i have a milk allergy and our waitress was very accommodating. the food was absolutely amazing! some of the best curries i’ve tried. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

A wonderful dining experience. The restaurant was spotlessly clean with a beautiful, well-thought-out interior design that immediately makes you feel comfortable. The chicken karahi😘 had an authentic ethnic taste — easily one of the best I’ve had in Italy. The staff were well-trained, polite, and attentive, which really added to the experience. To top it off, the coffee was excellent. Cleanliness, quality food, and great service all in one place. Highly recommended! 👌
