Yesterday I came with a friend for an aperitif. It was 6.00 pm. Nothing to say about the quality and quantity of the appetizers brought on the cutting board. Everything excellent and plentiful. However, one criticism is on the table: the day before I came in person, had a coffee and booked a table in the heated outdoor area. Yesterday, upon my arrival, the reservation was totally ignored, even though I re-issued it to 4 people. They tell me there will be a group of 50 people outside. They don't listen to reason. We then sit inside the bar resignedly. At 7.15pm, when we went out, there was not a shadow of the 50 people in the outdoor area but only two or three occupied tables.

It's always nice to pass by a bar and immediately hear the bartender say good morning to you with a smile. They have different types of croissants, focaccias and bread. The staff is really friendly and polite. The place appears very clean. Outside the restaurant there are many tables and also a large veranda.

At Taipy there is never a shortage of the right food and drinks at any time of the day. There is a welcoming internal room, an intimate outdoor area and friendly and helpful staff. It must be an opinion shared by many, because it is practically impossible to find it empty. What I like most, however, is the sense of small community that you can feel. Those who drink a coffee quickly or leaf through the newspaper in the morning, those who have a bite to eat during the lunch break, the students at the tables with books in the afternoon, those who stop for an aperitif or sit at the table they have booked for the match, those who hang out until closing time with friends; no one seems strange to the place or happened to be there by chance. You notice it because he chats with the owners, because he jokes with the waiters, because not only is he or she called by name, but, if it happens, also his dog. And so, even if you only visit it recently or rarely pass by, you can enjoy the atmosphere of a place where you can refresh your belly, but also your soul a little.
