Excellent quality of raw materials, quick service, pleasant environment. Prices are justifiably high, especially for wines, the cellar is overpriced by 50% more than it should be. But as we know, the Milanese are not happy if you don't lead them by the nose....

Ottima qualità della materia prima, servizio rapido, ambiente piacevole. Prezzi ingiustificatamente alti in particolare per i vini, la cantina è sovraprezzata del 50% più del dovuto. Ma si sa, i milanesi se non li prendi per il naso non sono contenti....

El servicio era de 5 estrellas. Paolo proporcionó excelentes recomendaciones y un servicio impecable. Comenzando con el tártaro de atún - excelente. Estilo mediterráneo con tomate - salsa a base de tomate en el centro👏👏 El plato Primi fue cacio e pepe tortellini - me encantó. El Main era Dover Sole con papas. Esta es la única oportunidad. El pescado estaba delicioso, pero estaba en salsa de mantequilla de vino blanco pesado. La próxima vez pediría sin salsa y con verduras verdes. La recomendación del vino era fantástica. Paolo compartió lo mejor y más económico y los beneficios de todos. Al final elegí las piezas menos costosas.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food. A deserved reputation but definitely on the expensive side. If you’re after a restaurant with elegant and traditional decor, this is hard to beat. If it’s all about the food, there are great alternatives for half the price.

Nice historic restaurant in Milan, excellent dishes. Perhaps tables a little too close together, even though when we went the place wasn't crowded.

Historic restaurant in Milan, the environment has its own charm and the welcome makes us feel at ease. The service was excellent as were the dishes we ate. We will be back, the only small complaint perhaps is the portions, but we will be back!!!

Although I enjoyed the experience of dining at Da Giacomo, I have to knock a star off as the food did not match either expectations, nor the high price tag. I must commend the service as we had a lovely waitress who was attentive and funny, a total pro. The atmosphere for me, also, was top notch. Beautiful old world glam, chandeliers and waiters in crisp white livery. The wine we had recommended was fantastic. Lastly, the food. The oysters were lovely. I had the poached egg starter (under seasoned and lacking somehow) and the Spaghetti Vongole (gluey and overly salted). My partner had the baked scallops and tortellini with raw prawn, both of which he liked. Dessert was a real let-down: we had the chocolate cake which we found to be dry and lacking in style and richness.

Great seafood selection. Especially raw Tuna Tartar. The prices are high, but they are worth it.
